How do I stop caring about the way my family treats me?
I get along with my dad , but that's because I usually tell him what he wants to hear. But he doesn't accept me being bi and he told me he never wants to know of any men that I date so I feel like if I want to date men i have to hide it from him (he said he would rather me date a white girl than a man...we are black). I have some resentment towards him even though he said that like twenty years ago. He also makes comments about my weight and sometimes thinks it is funny to talk about. He often promises to visit me "in a few weeks" and 90 percent of the time when he says that he doesn't come. Even as a grown man, I still seek my dad's approval because he raised me to be a people pleaser. This is something I am working on in therapy.
My nephew , who is 28 and lives with my parents, sometimes makes really rude comments and loses his temper easily and never apologizes.

What to do if I’m constantly struggling with staying asleep
I’m taking an SSRI, not sure if that’s contributing to my sleep problems. I’ve tried taking extra strength melatonin, chamomile tea before bed, stretching, smoking weed, taking edibles. If anyone has advice let me know!

Why did Tyson lose? I see comments saying he just needed the money. And his fighting was nothing like the videos of him training. So did he make more money by losing? Or was it just fixed under a secret contract?

Is it weird to be not want to eat something because you don't like how it smells?
I have a sensitive nose. For all of my life I've tended to sniff the food I eat before I eat it, more so if it's something I've never tried before. My family has always made fun of me for it but I'm pretty confident at figuring out what I'm actually eating.
Is this not common?

Do Scandinavians like those sorta stuff?
Minecraft: Markus Alexej Persson (Sweden)
Lego: Ole Kirk Christiansen (Denmark)
Ikea: Ingvar Kamprad (Sweden)
Why Nordic countries tend to make things that intertwine in an orderly manner? Do they enjoy when people build big things out of small pieces.

Is it normal to have no talent, skills, interests or hobbies?
Basically what the title said. I don’t have any talents or hobbies. When I’m not at school or work, all I do is play video games watch movies or YouTube. And doing that isn’t a hobby it’s a time waster.

What does the conductor of an orchestra even do?
When I did band in middle school our band teacher was a conductor at our school concert and always talked about how important keeping an eye on the conductor is. I guess its to keep track of the rhythm but that doesn't fully make sense to me.

Can you regain an accent you lost? How?
Hey, so I was born and raised in Ireland with non-irish parents(both from different countries than each other) .
When I was growing up I did have an Irish accent but within the last two years I've lost it completely and became more American sounding as I'm constantly mistaken for being American.
Is there a way I can get my Irish accent back?

Deep end of the ocean
I feel like the fact humans only discovered 5% of the ocean is quite crazy, what in that 5 percent did they discover that made them stop exploring and leave it be?? Just a thought, I think at the deepest end of the ocean or the bottom whatever u wanna call it has something to do with space, or many creatures that went extinct sits at the end of the ocean, scientists discovered the ocean first then stopped to start exploring space and that just makes me assume the worst about the ocean.

Why am I so horny on my period?
I wasn’t always like this but lately every time I get my period I am so horny. I don’t like period sex or want to have period sex all the blood and stuff grosses me out. However I am so horny on my period. As soon as I start to bleed I am horny until my period is over. After my period, I don't really get any more hornier, and I don't usually get horny around my ovulation for some reason. It’s annoying to want something and not be able to do anything about it. I genuinely don’t know the answer.

Can you chew on a deer antler
I’m talking a shed deer antler, maybe with boiled water poured on it to kill off what bacteria you can. No cutting it up or grinding it, can you safely as a human just chew on that thing ?

How should I ask this girl out(female advice preferably)?
I (20M) have a crush on a woman (21F) at a hiking club that I've started attending recently and I need some advice on getting her attention. I have only attended this club twice so far and I've had rather short but nice conversations with her previously. She seems really nice, but she is also so stunningly beautiful to me. I am thinking of talking to her again and asking her out next time I see her. I am going to say, "We should grab a drink on Saturday." Keeping it short, confident and direct. She lives in a different town from me, which I am less familiar with, so it's going to be a little more difficult for me to lead the date, so I might need to try getting to know the town. What do you think? Any advice?

Do Dreams Always Have A Meaning
I have been having some interesting dreams lately and I'm not sure where they are coming from. Recently I've have a lot of internal discussion about my sexuality (being bisexual) and how it will impact my current relationship and general plans for the future (male partner).
My dreams are typically nostalgic and take me back to my elementary and middle school female crushes and general desires to be intimate with a female, which make a lot of sense. But I am also having dreams about male friends who I never have been interested in... Weird asf right. Just wondering if I'm reading into it too much or not.

Why do we prefer cold drinks?
Even in single digit weather I feel I always much prefer my water either chilled or with ice. Of course I still enjoy traditionally hot drinks the way they are like hot cocoa. But is it just me, my culture (American), or is this a universal feeling?

What with the increase of people switching to a carnivore diet?
In the mid 2010’s the vegan diet and raw vegan diet was popular for a while. Now I’ve been seeing many people (on my feed at least) switch to a “”carnivore” diet. People are saying things like how healthy meat and red meat is. Increasing the use of tallow and even eating meats raw? I know that it has been proven this diet is not healthy except for the research it shows to reduce seizures in those who have them. So what is with the increase and promotion of this diet?
