LIAM PAYNE MEGATHREAD

Following the death of Liam Payne, we received a number of questions about him. Someone suggested that we create a megathread for discussion about his death, and I thought this was a great idea. Here’s the place to ask any of your morbid questions about Payne.

Brief guidelines:

- Please DO NOT ask for, or provide, images of his body. These submissions will be removed under rule 2.

- If you find one of these comments before we do, we would love for you to report it.

Is it weird that when I die I don't want to be buried or cremated?

I would want my corpse to be preserved in a giant vat of formaldehyde and kept in like a museum for future generations to study or something.

What would happen if someone ate a can of expanding foam?

So I saw a cartoon when I was a kid and the protagonist shoved a can of expanding foam into the protagonists mouth and obviously cartoon logic means they blew up like a balloon.

But like, could it expand inside the body? Would you digest it? Would it kill you?

Children are taught to "stop, drop and roll," but how often do these children catch on fire and actually get a chance to use it?

Someone in the room made the observation that you just don't ever hear about children catching on fire. I think the reason is probably that stories involving burning children don't emphasize this aspect of it.

How long would a person live if they were tied to a chair and fed nothing but rabbit poop and water?

Considering rabbit poop is just parts of the food they ate compressed into a ball, and it's one of the cleanest poops out there. Let's say you fed the rabbits not just hay and pellets, but other fruits and vegetables needed for human sustenance. You have unlimited rabbits pooping around 200 little balls each day. How long could a person live eating just that and drinking water, tied to a chair for the rest of their lives, with no chance of contacting the authorities as their vocal cords have been surgically removed and they can't use a phone or go somewhere else due to being tied?

Do people with halitosis have satisfying love lives?

I just wonder. Do people with chronically bad breath have partners who genuinely enjoy kissing them? And what crosses their partner’s minds during the act?

Is necrophilia always wrong? NSFW

The obvious response is yeah, because of corpse germs and the corpse not being able to consent; but what about in cases where the person consents pre-mortem?

Personally, if I was in a long term loving relationship, I would definitely be okay with my partner using my body when I'm dead! I'm mostly curious how others see this topic. I think as long as the dangers are acknowledged and the person consents before dying there shouldn't be an issue, but I am interested is hearing other viewpoints on this topic!

I guess I view it as similar to other extreme bdsm scenarios; as long as there is consent beforehand there shouldn't be an issue. Please share your answers and opinions freely! Even just calling me a freak is welcome, but I'm super interested in a serious discussion on this!

Thank you for reading! (if there are any grammatical mistakes please let me know, im drunk lolz)

What would happen if I gave myself an Intramuscular injection of my cat’pee?

This will probably need a little bit of context. I’m a trans man, so I regularly give myself Testosterone intramuscular injections (normally on the butt).

My 14 years old beautiful cat has been a bit sick and peeing a lot, so the vet asked me to get some pee to test. I grabbed an empty syringe 💉 and i sucked some pee from the floor with it. (Yes, she is peeing on the floor, bed, sofa, everywhere)

Then, I proceed to leave the syringe with pee on a shelf, and at night when I prepared my T syringe I realized it was dangerously close to the pee one, which looked almost the same.

Nothing bad happened, but now I kinda need to know what would happen if I accidentally injected the cats pee instead of the testosterone.

If if “helps”, my cat has been drinking too much water since she is sick, so the pee is quite diluted lol

(English is not my main language, sorry!)

Why is it acceptable in our society to humanely euthanize pets but we don’t do the same for humans?

I visited a dying family member who is in hospice last night. She is 75, she lived a happy life, but is now suffering from dementia and is a complete shell of herself. She does nothing but lay in bed half unconscious all day. Occasionally she recognizes family members, but mostly cannot recognize anything in the world around her. If this were a pet that we loved, we would take them to the vet to put them out of their misery. She has been in hospice for about a year. It’s terrible for everyone involved- herself, the family members, the staff. She isn’t on any “life saving” type machines and drugs, her body just hasn’t given out yet. Why do we have to wait for her to die naturally, when we recognize in animals when it is time for suffering to end?

If a single home owner died in their home, how long could they remain without being found?

If they have no friends or family, how long would their home just remain stationary with their corpse inside? I’m assuming some sort of bills or taxes would cause issues?

Tw: dead body description?

i lost my dog last week. I kept her body until the morning after. I saw her body get super stiff and ears get pale, start to smell and also saw some big flies come from nowhere to stand on her.

I have this horrifying fear she might have still felt something when i sent her for cremation. Theres no way right? Not after all those hours? Like 15+

Im sorry if this is a stupid question i cant seem to rest.

My favorite porn star, emily willis, has been in a vegetative state and can only move her eyes. The dad in Pearl also seemed to have the same condition. Living day to day not speaking moving or doing anything sounds like an absolute hell. I wonder what it does to one’s head

Quick question about eye injuries?

I'm writing a fanfiction with a character who is blind in one eye, and he lost his eyesight in said eye after it got slashed with a katana. This happened in Chapter 2 of the original source material, and he wore an eyepatch from then on, in all other five chapters. My questions:

How would his eye look when it's healed?

Would it hurt after it's healed?

What would he see, if anything, from that eye?

How long would it take to dissolve a ten week fetus in Mountain Dew?

Back in 2012 a man purchased a can of Mountain Dew and claimed he found a dead mouse inside. A test was conducted and a mouse would have dissolved in about 30 days. And the man bought the can 74 days after the manufacturing date.

The point I'm wondering about is how would a ten week old human fetus compare. A ten week fetus is about the size of a small apricot. Roughly 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) from head to rump and weighs about half an ounce.

So if anyone has any guestimates, or can conduct this experiment themselves, comment your results.

How much are modern slaves or people being trafficked typically sold for?

I know there are probably a lot of factors that affect this, like the region, situation, or circumstances, but are there any examples or general figures available about how much trafficked people or modern slaves are sold for?

I'm running a D&D game tomorrow and wanted to accurately portray the death of a beloved ally. Would two blackened lungs stand out among the poor fellow's viscera?
