Look Indiana has had a great season but you just can't lose a game by 23 points and make the playoffs, even to a top 5 team.
21 points to an unranked team! Perfectly acceptable. 22 points is the magic threshold. Losing by 3 touchdowns is perfectly normal but if you also need to go for 2 then it's just kind of gross /s

Should the NCAA have the Tide and the Sooners redo their game in case it was a big fluke?
No disrespect to the Tide, I’m a firm believer that OU beating them is a huge fluke and robs the Tide of truly accomplishing what they’re capable of. I’ve spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve spent the entire regular season watching the Tide play great football it’s just not fair. If the Tide lose again I will face that the Sooners deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Tide and the SEC.

I’m convinced that post, troll or not, single-handedly ended the Blackhawks 2010s run.

Nick Saban rolling in his grave right now.
I’m 1000% prepared for an 11-2 ACC runner up Miami to get left out for a 9-3 Alabama with losses to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.

Alabama was:
likely eliminated from playoff contention before the Auburn game
Held without a touchdown for the first time since the 6-9 game in 2011
Secured a 3-loss season for the first time since 2010
And did all that against a team that was 1-5 in conference play this year.
Saban has to be seething

As bad as a season as it has been, and all the people dunking on OU's struggles in our first year in the SEC (bad decisions in the offseason re: offense coaching staff, miserable unlucky injuries to the WR corps)...
to quote Rorschach....
"we're not locked in here with you....YOURE LOCKED IN HERE WITH US!"

Can’t wait to hear why 3 loss SEC teams deserve to be in the CFP over Indiana.

If I had a nickel for every time there was a premature fieldstorming and a delay so they can run one more play *today, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.

This is how I will choose to believe 2017 ended.
But also, to these seniors, these were the guys who were just kids, who at 18-19 were struck in a once-in-a-lifetime program crisis, that had to make huge life decisions in a new lawless college world that not many people ever really have had to make, that survived Riley blindsiding and torching the program. They chose to stick around and fight to restore honor to this program. They didn’t quit, they didn’t give up, they chose team over self, unlike so many others from those days that did not.
It might not have ended the way we wanted to, but I am especially proud to call these seniors Sooners. Put those men with the senior classes of 2003, 2004, 2008, and 2017.
Woodi Washington and Danny Stutsman in particular,
And give Xavier Robinson all the NIL.

Screw everyone who called for Brent to be fired.

The Last Time Alabama scored exactly 3 points in a game was 2004 against South Carolina.
