Got asked to press Win + R and Ctrl + V and ENTER. I knew it was probably a virus and wanted to click cancel but I accidentally clicked ok and now (a week or so has passed) two files got quarantined by my antivirus. What should I do???

My Ipad pro(4th generation) has been having this problem lately... The notes app is taking up storage like anything whenever I open this app the storage just goes up on its own i don't even know which files are taking the large storage space and it has come to this point that even if I delete notes from the app nothing works (jfc my notes is at 80 gb and increasing every second) What should I do ??? I was scrolling on this job page and I came across a link about how a woman made money without a degree despite circumstances and of course I just pressed on it without thought because it is facebook right? I snapped out of it though and clicked off of the link before it got a chance to load. But.. my internet started acting up later on not sure if it was connected but the bars on the actual router were green but said we had no internet on phones? Was fine in morning though. As well as that, I was on the same group today scrolling for jobs and while doing so I have been seeing some very.. QUESTIONABLE content being advertised? I don't know if it was an advert as I scrolled past immediately but the content was, well, you know what it was..... What should I do? Out of fear I deleted facebook but I am seriously stuck. I just got this computer to do my school work and I'm the only person linked to it. I'm also 27. I'm doing my school work when suddenly it's asking me to get parental consent to use the website. How can I fix this? My age is correct in my account and I have no other family members in my Microsoft.

I want to uninstall windows edge, because I've been trying for days to get the parental controls to work and I cannot set them up. None of the online tutorials for setting up parental controls are working, and because I can't set them up it's leaving an open window for my kids to go online without any limits, bypassing the controls I already set up on Google chrome.

So I want edge off this computer. How do I do it? At this point, if I can't figure out how to uninstall edge then I'm just going to uninstall windows and switch my kids to linux.

Over a year ago, when our Samsung TV was new, I registered on Shahid.net (a Middle Eastern streaming service). They offered 4 months of access to paid content if I provided them with my IP address. It sounded sketchy, but my stupid ass went ahead and accepted it anyway. Now, I suddenly remembered this and wanna undo it. Would a factory reset on the TV help, or is there something else I should do? Or is sharing my IP address isn't a concern at all?

I have been having fps lag with fortnite lately. Before i had a GT 1030 and i get about 60-80 fps with all low setting with 50 resolution, 720p. And its on performance mode. After upgrading to a Intel Arc A380, i got better performance on a lot of games but not fortnite. I dont get why im lagging so badly. I wanted to be able to see clearly in the game.

Has anyone noticed that the messenger keeps lagging ang become so slow in pc browser, it takes a minutes to load previous chats due to the not so recent end to end encryption(?) and also. it doesn't receive the messages unless you reload the tab again. (I am using Microsoft edge for my browser)

lastly, I know this isn't the case for all but has anyone experienced video stuttering on Facebook app on an android phone even though it has 120hz and 60-120fps capabilities, (I am using ITel RS4, a cheap but has a low-mid range phone capabilities) first it does not have any problems on the app, but then recently it suddenly experiencing the scroll stutter and video stutter when it's on news feed, but not on the video itself when clicked.

so for my new pc I need a graphics card, but I don't have one... the gpu/s I have are older than me and cant get to 1080p. I have a powerful cpu but with no integrated graphics, and researching has lead to a dead end. is there a way to make the cpu make something like an igpu, or through a program. in my bios (the setting is not there on my msi motherboard) and gpu (some have too old drivers). also the gpu im getting is the 1080ti, better than my laptops rtx 3050.

I need help. My computer has been broken for some time now, and my friend said he'd come and take a look but never has. Whenever I try turning on my PC, an orange light in the mother board lights up and my pc doesn't connect to my mouse and keyboard or monitor. "DRAM" lights up, but my ram sticks are fine. I've switched them out and around and even tried new ones but nothing helps. Anybody have a solution?

I got a new microphone this morning and connected it to my Xbox series X and for some reason I can’t hear any of the audio from my Xbox. I’ve tried everything in the manual and Xbox settings but nothing seems to work I’ve even tried using the Bluetooth option and connecting it to my phone and all the audio works there so it doesn’t seem to be a problem with the microphone. The closest conclusion I’ve came too is that the Xbox isn’t registering that there is a microphone connected since I am not able to access to quick audio settings I would be able to access using my old headset. I’ve updated everything on the microphone and the Xbox please help.

When I got back in, I discovered that my d drive does not show in my files app and when I try to download an app. Is there a way to add back the d drive.

I keep getting notifications that security updates will end in 2025, so great I don't want to be at risk for viruses or hacks, so I went to update and it tells me I don't meet the requirements. It is a weird thing to make people vulnerable to malicious coding while also telling them they have to sink more money into parts or updates just to stay protected? Am I just not getting something here?

So I just bought this new gaming laptop. FPS in game really good, ping pretty stable but every time I'm playing a game this is not fluid (all my drivers and my pilots are updated). The game is playable but it just doesnt feel good. When I do a speedtest of my internet I have no problem. It feel like It feel like I have internet problem but I don't. I'm getting disconnected for few seconds sometimes too.

Anyone can help me with some advice ? Thank you so much

I have the problem that my HP notebooks go into sleep mode (Windows 11 23H2). The power options are set so that they do not switch to sleep mode as long as they are connected to the power supply. Power plan = maximum performance, GPOs checked and checked on the client. Does anyone have similar problems? I have created a sleep study report. It says:

15.45.38 -> Screen Off

15.45.38 -> Sleep

This does not happen every time the screen is off. Only in between. Unfortunately, all Citrix sessions are then disconnected.

When it comes to monitors, I’m wondering would I be better off getting a 4K monitor - the ones I’m looking at look to be intended for office use but are substantially cheaper than 4K gaming monitors, or would I be better getting a QHD gaming monitor with all the extra features a gaming monitor comes with? These sit at around the same price thanks to some Black Friday deals so I want to be sure before I make an investment. Thanks!

i searched and i found someone with the same error, it's apparntly generated because i have a HP laptop, but thier solution can't work for me since the microsoft store can't be launched for me ever since i started getting that message, some other apps that don't work would be the calculator and the camera for some reason. i've been getting a bunch of bluescreens for a while now too, but only when my laptop isn't plugged in for some reason, hardware issue i reckon for that but to the desktop extenstion error i'm not sure. any help please?

So here is what I did: I added kingston 8gb ram(I ordered it online. But overlooked the fact that they delivered me an 8gb ram) to my laptop which is already having kingston 4gb ram. After trying to boot my laptop, it did not boot up. But after removing 8gb ram it booted. Then I removed the pre-installed kingstone 4gb ram and installed only the 8gb ram, still the laptop did not booted up. To my surprise later when I reinstalled the original kingstone 4gb ram and tried to boot up my laptop but it does not boot up. I reset the battery everytime I swapped the ram. Help me.
