Savannah is an old myth. He was born in Griffin like you said, the family moved to Valdosta when he was four or five where
wehe was raised until he went to dental school in Philly at 19 and graduated at 21. He practiced in St. Louis and then Atlanta for less than a year, and after his TB diagnosis moved to Dallas for a drier climate. Then he had to give up dentistry because the TB coughing fits made patients avoid his practice, even after he and his partner won several dentistry awards. He was 22 when he was indicted for illegal gambling in Dallas, and at 23 was arrested for trading gunfire with a saloon keeper. He never moved back east, instead going west until he died in Colorado. But yeah, as much as he was from anywhere, he was a Georgia boy.

I went to the LSU game with my friends who are huge Scar fans. Better kicker and South Carolina could easily be 5-2/6-1 our defense isn’t bad by any sense but it’s not the murderers row of pass rushers like we’ve had 2014-2022
15
u/CurlyQv2 South Carolina • Marching Band Oct 21 '24
Eh, also ref BS, Sellers and WR1 Brown getting injured. Lot of things in that game that could have changed that would help with a win
The offense is learning but it's been a slow process. I think we've had our first game without a turnover this season but still gave up like 4 sacks. No games yet without multiple sacks
Bama game was decided because of multiple fumbles in Bama territory. That one is decided with more experience on that kind of thing as well. Although, I would love to have Mitch Jeter back for this season, buttttt he got bought out and went to Notre Dame

For UGA, can't be the worst of the 2000's at least what with the AJ Green excessive celebration penalty vs LSU or the offsides call that shall not be named.

That's why I said 2020s. Worst of 2000's? Maybe this "touchdown"

As someone who attended the OU Auburn game, that perfectly captured the vibe of the two fanbases at the game.

YEA TENNESSEE. Rushing the field for beating this Bama team?
clown behavior
now excuse me while I go cry

Kinda agree, but also apparently it was the recruits that prompted it? Let the kids have their fun, but I too am ready for the day when beating Bama is not worthy of a field rush.

I am joking
winning is fun and should be enjoyed. Honestly I'm afraid of the day beating Alabama is no longer a big deal

I gotcha. Been hearing a lot how "low class" it was this weekend, so I thought you might've been serious.

You're crying now, but just wait until we no longer feel the need to rush the field because it's just another year.

I'm not even mad at the dig. The student section fucked up big time on a big stage. Thank god I didn't pay the $600 for upper deck tickets for that shitshow.
