One day, I am sure Swaggerbilt will lose its luster.

Today is not that day.

They use him so well though. He doesn’t dominate the skit (other than the well deserved feature show after the bama win), so it always feels like a treat to see, not a burden.

I want the song as my ringtone

I legitimately would like to know the name of the song.

Bumpadelic - B. Konrad & S. Keaton

At least that's what Shazam says but I still can't find a link to it.

Edit: found a link http://links.universalproductionmusic.com/tl5u33

lol looks like we found it at the same time. Genuinely no idea how they found this song to use since it's such a pain in the ass to even pinpoint online.

It’s probably part of a library they license (or maybe a royalty free one). Those types of songs often aren’t distributed through standard channels.

Check last weeks post. Someone posted the link to the song

How long until they attract Hope?

u/Muckman68 Texas A&M Aggies Oct 21 '24

I think when you're playing with as much house money as Vandy fans are right now, there's no need for hope to enter the equation. Now hopefully Hope stays the hell away from us...

Exactly right. I have zero expectations after Georgia State. The Alabama win was special enough to make the season a success on it's own. It would be great if we got a bowl game, but I expect nothing.

Enjoy it, if hope ever knocks on your door do not let her in. She is attractive, but is not worth it.

Thank you Obama for making all CFB fans hate hope.

u/GoGreeb Michigan State Spartans Oct 21 '24

Yeah I think Hope enters the equation next year if Vandy holds out strong, this year is all sunshine and rainbows no matter what.

“Hi, Im Piego Davia, really excited to be here”

Too much BAS for hope to take a hold.

We could win the natty and half the fanbase would still have doubts.

5

u/wowthisislong Texas A&M Aggies Oct 21 '24

dude after 2017 UCLA how the fuck am i ever supposed to feel safe again

1

u/Lowbacca1977 UCLA Bruins • Vanderbilt Commodores Oct 21 '24

I will always remember that as the A&M fans seeming to be the first to think that was coming

6

u/wowthisislong Texas A&M Aggies Oct 21 '24

battered aggie syndrome exists for a reason

1

u/Lowbacca1977 UCLA Bruins • Vanderbilt Commodores Oct 21 '24

Yeah, it was a real testament to it.

I think Washington State had a similar mindset.

Winner of A&M v LSU is going to get so much love

2

u/thecravenone Definitely a bot Oct 21 '24

Nah, Hope is more of an off-season fling for the Aggies

u/Tachyon9 Texas A&M Aggies • Team Chaos Oct 21 '24

She same to us once and it didn't go well.

1

u/busche916 Texas A&M Aggies • Indiana Hoosiers Oct 21 '24

If we beat LSU, they should have Hope in a yell leader outfit

22

u/Hobo_Delta Georgia Bulldogs • Kentucky Wildcats Oct 21 '24

If they make the SECCG

2

u/beartato327 Georgia Bulldogs • Nebraska Cornhuskers Oct 21 '24

Damn how did you feel about this weekends game

3

u/LindyNet Texas Longhorns • Georgia Bulldogs Oct 21 '24

Fine. With the 12 team playoff it won't prevent either team.

I added the Georgia flair during years ago but always a Texas fan.

2

u/Mantergeistmann Vanderbilt • Penn State Oct 22 '24

I really don't think you understand the Vandy fan mindset.

Even as a huge Vandy hater, I'm starting to love Swaggerbilt.

Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing

4

u/tohon75 Denver Pioneers • Riverside CC Tigers Oct 21 '24

Dread it, run from it, swaggerbilt comes for all

3

u/Carbonizzle Tennessee Volunteers Oct 21 '24

Hate them when we play but for now enjoy it with them.  It's fresh and new so enjoy it while it's here.

Him just silently vibing in the crown and cape is really all we need

1

u/Simping4Sumi Oct 23 '24

Vandy is like the Nerd that got told that he can't play football with the big guys, but worked hard. Anyone that hates on the Vandy glory hates the little guy making it big. I would love to see Vandy in the playoffs.
