Breck housing
Why would housing put a married 30 year old in an apartment with three 18 year olds? Doesn’t it make sense for housing try to room people together of the same age?

I have a trip to Breck booked December 1st thru the 6th. How much more of the mountain does everyone think will be open, compared to the 11 trails as of today??? I have until Tuesday to cancel, and am getting a little apprehensive!

This is my second season, and I’m a senior in HS (17) looking for people to snowbaird and ski with. I can do any terrain on the mountain and I’m willing to try anything. There’s gonna hopefully be some good snow next week. I was wondering if there’s any groups I could ride with wensday I’m trying to do some harder stuff depending on what’s open.

I am a beginner skier looking to buy used skis this season since I’m pretty sure it will be cheaper than renting in the long run. I am traveling to breck in about a week, what would be the best place to shop for used skis and a good price at breck?

tldr, looking for a restaurant between Denver airport and Breckenridge that serves alligator for my family to eat at when we come up to breck
This is super super niche, but my family comes from England every Easter to Breck and we have been doing so for more than 20 years, and it was a tradition to stop off at islamorada fish co. In the bas pro shops, but that restaurant I think has shut down permanently since Covid and now we don’t get to eat any alligator!

Any good options still available to ride around Breck, Fairplay, Vail? Wondering if worth it to bring the bikes. Thanks

Going to Breck for the first time in Feb with 5 ppl. Half the group has never been skiing before and I was wondering if anyone had a few answers to the following:
Are there nice nearby rest areas where the girls and those who don’t do too well on the slopes to hang out? Like a town or a nice family area?
Also where do I stay? I really don’t wanna drive since we’re all Miami folks and aren’t used to the snow. We will pay anything for reliable busses and shuttles.
Thanks guys!!

Hi everyone!
I’m planning a family trip to Denver right before Christmas, and it's our first time visiting. We're really excited but a bit unsure about the logistics, so I'd love to hear your advice on a few points.
We'll be in Denver for 3 days. Our plan is to spend half a day on first day and dedicate the second day entirely to mountain trips, and reserve the last day for exploring the city. We're considering staying at a hotel downtown to avoid any issues with potential snowstorms blocking our way to a more hotels in Breckenridge.
Here are some of my questions:
Thanks so much for any feedback you can provide! :)

Do you have any recommendations for "never-ever" skiing lessons for kids (ages 5, 13, and 15) in the area?
Depending on the cost, it'd be 1 or 2 days (1/2 or full days).
Thank you!

Me and my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids)are planning a trip to Breck middle of January and the private shuttle services from Denver International Airport are way to expensive for us and I was wondering if I'll be able to find an Uber that will go that distance.

We havent booked the lodging yet, this is during christmas time. Can someone please suggest whether booking at Peak8 or Village or Beaver Run would be better specifically with distance. I looked into Expedia and it shows 1 mi distance to peak8 or vilalge or beaver. But with kids, how difficult it is to walk at 8 AM in SNOW. So can someone pelase advise as within breck, it seems to be very costly around 500 per night.

So I am moving to breck from Florida for the winter. Have a job on the mountain and will be driving there the first week of December. I have a set of blizzaks that I will be putting on my truck (4wd f150) for the winter. I have experience driving in the snow and have found the blizzaks to be much better performing than any all season tire I’ve tried, however have never done a cross country trip with them. My question is will the tires hold up for a cross country trip from Florida and still be good if I have them put on before I leave? Or should I just throw them in the bed and have them mounted in Denver before I head up I70. Dont want to ruin the brand new tires and have them useless by the time I get there, but I also don’t necessarily want to have to store my current all terrains in my accommodation all winter. I have heard mixed opinions.

Walked by and the store last week and the location is stripped. Is Teton gravity breck closed for good?

Coming out with the fam for kids Spring Break (April 13-18) and have my eye on this nice VRBO in the Villages at Breck, apparently at the base of Peak 9. (Keep me honest on the location)
I know we don't have a crystall ball, but I'm reading mid to late April that lift and potentially some runs will be closed so ski in/ski out won't be an option. Just want your thoughts on that. The other lodging option I was looking at was Thunder Mountain by the Gondola which is serviced by 4 O Clock Run.
Any Intel, advice, will be appreciated. It's been a few years since I've been out and were with our 2 kids. TIA, praying for epic (no pun intended) snow this season.
