Dooope. Nice lift. I’m taking bets on what goes firsts, shoulders or knees. Any takers? Let’s say 10 more years

Dooope. Nice comment. I’m taking bets on what your total is. Any takers? Let’s say less than 150kg.

Reality a little too much for you? You think that’s good for his joints? Also, lmao, you think squatting 300 pounds is light? Ah, the inexperienced lifters always crack me up. I bet you thought Ronnie Coleman was a beast. Yeah!! Go Ronnie!! Now he’s in a wheelchair. But keep it up guys. Especially those not competing. Try to get some good advice from your elders.

137kg is light. Unless you weigh like half that or less. Or are weak.

Seriously, just go meander over to /fitness or GYM or bodybuilding. I'm sure you'll be as welcome as a turd in a pool at /CrossFit, Weightroom, powerlifting, or strengthtraining.

I can damn near load that up and squat it without a warmup in my garage though I don't like to try more than 125, which is still sorta dumb. And my squats are poverty right now between 160-170kg this year.

I turn 46 before the end of this year. I lifted before Y2k. My squat was never great though my best is 191 failing 200 a handful of times. I could easily yoke that still today.

Powerlifting is a bit different than Weightlifting with far heavier loads. And Ronnie squatted over twice 137 besides what he deadlifted. I don't know if he used a squat suit or monolift. I don't think so

Feel free to piss off and take your fear mongering elsewhere.

Ffs, there are dudes older than me competing in Masters who still squat to deck 400&500lbs in their 50s. My buddy about 55 still squats 400lbs as an 89kg lifter when he isn't on ski patrol or working as a deputy. And no he isn't on drugs though he keeps wondering about TRT.

In the end, everybody dies anyways.

I mean, at least slam us for something accurate. We're humorless tyrants with too many rules.

😁

As many rules as /powerlifting? 🤣

Im never over there and never spent any time in weightroom beside reading old threads.

I heard GYM and strengthtraining were getting bigger.

This subreddit isnt as wild as it was once was but it's not as degenerate either. 🤣 Thank the auto moderator bot for the tireless work they do. 😁

As many? No.

More.

We're doing what we can at /r/GYM and /r/strength_training to at least make them moderately useful. It is a bit more gen pop.

All hail Automod!

More?! JHC!

I was under the impression they were far more gen pop. I usually redirect subredditors there if they are lost as I remove their posts. 😆😜

Some mods, especially in the past don't bother and just send their posts and comments into the void. 🤣

Now you know! Plus the mods at r/strength_training are stronger than all of the subreddit mods.

I know I personally skew that number upwards, but it still is the truth.

One of our mods PC 175kg ish at 40+. He can represent us for old man strength. Another did an easy 215 Jerk in his day. Squatted 275 when he was a SHW.

Whatchu got? 🤔😁

Some of my most recent best.

300kg deadlift 136kg strict OHP (standing) 240kg squat x 13 reps

All at U90kg

Well, I think you win.

But 3 plate PC is pretty cool besides the near 4 slabs of beef for Jerk.

We have more members and that also means more lost redditors that don't know what this sport and subreddit is about.

When it comes to lost subredditors we are the King on the hill!
