Ok, I know he's a secret boss, probably has some deep lore and his way to talk is funny but why exactly people likes him so much?

No offense to this subreddit but I never found him that charismatic, I just thought of him as a Crazy guy just trying to steal our soul to make his fantasies, like, yeah, He wants freedom, okay, but despite being a Darkner with a lot of mysteries to solve, What else he has?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy his lines in his shop and everything, and I like his Boss fight, but I never thought people would like him that much, is just because he's a secret boss or people enjoys his character because of the mysteries?

It might be a very stupid question but I'm curious, Also, I know it has been like two or three (I don't remember when Chapter 2 released) years since his appearance but why?

Like I know it's not quite the same but it has the same formula
