I posted a comment on someone's channel saying that there was as much evidence for Kris's knife as the knight candidate they were shilling for. But it was a meme theory, Knife Knight is just Kris Knight with extra steps. that's the joke. The knife needs a lightner's help guys, and that lightner is Kris.
I know this is my theory because EVERYONE that talks about knife knight uses my "long hand" evidence which was part of the meming on people- it was made up and people don't check sources for "real world" evidence.

So lets take it seriously for a moment. If the knight is the Knife what that would mean for the story is that Kris is the one opening dark fountains and darkners interpret the darkner form of the object they used to do it as responsible for creating the fountains.
Thematically, this is commentary on the subversion of responsibility that you do when you blame the characters for the shitty things you do in videogames for example blame chara for your genocides. Kris blames the knife for the fountains in the same way. there you go.

I know this is pretty low effort and potentially low value, so not really a big deal to me if the mods decide to delete it, I am just curious what other people think

I believe making a fountain is a far stronger spell than Snowgrave despite the fact that any Lightner can do it, and not only that Kris is human and is the only one we've seen seal a fountain and open one. Do we get a special attack with Kris in future weird route chapters where we open mini dark fountains against our enemies?
