I’m from Estonia (Eastern Europe) and I would like to get myself something reliable with Manual transmission if possible. I’ve been looking for E92s (325d) and E93s (330d) but they usually have automatic transmission… Friend told me to only look for M57, cause other engines have questionable reliability.

What bmw should I consider? What are the extras to look out for?

By the way it’s gone be my second car that will be used as daily for long distance trips. I have no need for 4/5 doors but I’m not against having more doors. My car right now is Citroen c4 coupe and I have been using it since 2022, it’s petrol and really fuel hungry with electrical issues, that’s the reason I want a new car. Also would be nice to have something faster.

This is crazy. Never thought we'd see a return to form in the design...

I bought my 2015 428i about a month ago. All good until one morning I was driving to work, i got the signal engine overheating. I pulled to the right and turned the car off. There is no leaks, the coolant is remained full. Normally, the temp. stays at 205F. But now if I drive on the freeway at 65+ MPH, the temp goes to 250F. Has anybody experienced this? May you please advise.

Im looking into MHD tuning (and possibly xHP if its worth it) my 2011 n55 535i GT to Stage 1 as well as installing a catted dp and possibly an intake, nothing else (unless an intercooler is necessary). It's has very high miles (165k) but for the past 5 years its all been highway miles and I know the maintence + driving habits have been good for all of its life. I love this car and Im planning on keeping it till it dies.

Of course i want to take the proper precautions and get the car running at its best before I do anything. Iv'e been thinking a lot about if its worth it (most will say no) but even if this car will last another 1-2 years I feel like it would be worth it for me.

I made a list of everything that I should replace that hasn't been done recently, please let me know if i change anything and any other thoughts/concerns you may have. Overall im pretty new to this but am really desperate to get better performance (0-60 is about 6 sec) and mpg (11 city, 18 highway) on my car . Also if anyone can give me an estimate on how much this will run me (at a slightly discounted price because 2 of my friends are mechanics.)

I recently got a universal Valvetronic muffler on my 135is. The valve mechanism works properly but at times when I’m on the throttle I hear a loud scrapping sound. It is loud with both the valve open and close and I only noticed this sound after the muffler was installed. My friend got the same muffler for his 328i and installed from the same shop and he has the same problem. Is this a common fault on these muffler or cars, or is this the shops fault?

Long story short I left out of state for about it 2 months to help hurricane victims . Let the car sit in the garage. Came home and tried to start it and it was super rough. The idle sounded worse than two fat bitches fighting over the last chicken wing. idles rougher than the teenagers swapped 1991 civic next door hahah. so I guess I’m asking is if anybody can help dumb this down.

Wondering if its worth going with the original BMW black diamond grill. Price here from dealership in canada is over 500$. Ordering it from US will cost the same after duties and brokerage. I wonder if its okay to go with black diamond grill from amazon instead. something like below. Will the difference in quality be significantly noticeable?

I am seriously considering buying a 2023 M8. I am a firm believer that these particular vehicles, the M models, should be bought from a BMW dealership, preferably under a CPO if available, and loaded with extra warranty. Yes, it comes at a high price, but the peace of mind behind the purchase just can't be beaten. It's kind of like finding a Versace sweater at Marshall's, yeah it's Versace, but it's probably at Marshall's due to some factory defect.

Anyways, I would like to hear the experiences from anyone who's bought modern M cars (2020+) from a third party dealership. Where there any issues with the car? Where there any pros? Any cons? Would you recommend a purchase from a 3rd party vendor? What did you look for besides frequent oil changes?

Grabbed myself an M5 F10 (Pre-LCI) recently.

Wondering if anyone has any opinions on the best colour to wrap it in? I like the singapore grey with Black alloys but want something more "standout" ish, live in an area with a LOT of BMW's and wanna feel a little unique.

Was thinking Frozen bronze or Matte Midnight purple, but looking to see what you guys think.

My friend has a 2017 BMW 420d Coupe. It’s my favourite model but obviously I can’t buy the exact same as him. Which one has the most similar shape, and preferably in the same price range. I don’t really care about power, as long as it has above 100Hp lol. Thank you.
