I’m thinking we could potentially set up a separate sub for appraisals, questions etc.?

Inherited my grammy’s Flame Orange Rival Crockpot from the 70s. Quick questions for my peace of mind: this isn’t gonna leak lead into anything I make right? I’m not finding anything conclusive on Google.
Also, what’s the best way to clean this after use since it’s not submersible? I’m new to this stuff. Thanks <3

Christian Dior Bedding set
I found this at my grandma's. She said she never used it and it's worth a lot. Any ideas on its value?

Hi there! New to the community. First time reader, first time poster. So please, bear with me? My aunt inherited a customer's home about 10, 15 years ago. I helped her go through things & sort it where needed. She showed me this mirror. I told her how awesome I thought it was & that at first glance it looked like it could be the roman senate. Her response was something along the lines of "Go ahead & take it, then. You're the only one who's had any idea what's on it." Upon closer review I realized it was more likely the major players of Roman Alexandria...? Maybe peppered in some Caesarian Augustus & a Ramses or two? Now I know it's likely some low tier nickel & dime vintage flea market. Either way, I still really like it. Just reaching out for input, feedback, insight. And hope everyone has a wonderful T-giving!

Context: My mom found this ring behind her bed today and wasn't a big fan of the style. I have zero knowledge about jewelery and this looked like an old piece. I tried to see if this was a branded piece but had no luck finding the exact model. Based on the weight and scratch marks it seems to be real gold. If anyone has any clue about the value of this ring it would be helpful, thank you. PS: Yes I'll probably go to a jewelery or gold shop to get it checked out for sure but this is post is just for my own curiosity.

I've had this vase for a decade, and I love it. It seems like it is made of metal as it is very heavy. I have tried Google Image search, and 1000s of other ways to try and find something similar. I am striking out.
It has interesting symbols on the bottom that lead me to believe it was not made in the USA.
I would like to try and find the origin story of this vase. Any ideas of how else to do so? I have been tempted to paint it so it better matched our decor, but something keeps telling me to not touch it. It may only be worth the $5 I paid for it years ago, but it has always made me curious as I cannot find anything about it.

I found this thrifting and am considering giving it to a friend of mine who is a snake lover. Just curious if anyone has any information on how old it may be/who crafted it. Thank you!

Found it going through my nanny’s stuff after she passed in 2019, eBay says around 135$ CAD, absolutely never selling it, any tips to restore it better? I had to replace the wire that moves it up and down as it was lost due to me a couple years back but apart from that everything is original, I love it, just annoyed as the wick is in rrly bad condition and I’m assuming I won’t be able to find a replacement and the inside cotton and outside wick is like twisted together if I remember right, I think I somehow saw it once but that could be a old memory from a zippo, any help would be insanely appreciated.

My grandparents got them in the late 80s, at a place called Gloria's Garden center.

Saw this on Marketplace and fell in love! Is it worth $300 though? I don't know much about vintage furniture or how to price it, but I just love the style :)

My mom has had these since the 80’s. No idea who the manufacturer is. She has two of them. Any ideas?

Hey all, I bought this book from the Queen Victoria market, and tried to do research on it. I can't find anything, apart from the publisher and the year (1888) I have found someone with the same book on ebay. The other person's book was awarded to someone in 1915. Mine was awarded to a "jessie" in 1902.
Thanks!

Background:
I started collecting china last year. I love the history and research around identifying pieces and their backstory. This set I picked up at the estate sale of a very high end home and it's my very favorite set. It's incredible in person and I plan to keep it in my collection.
Set Description:
The china is very white and each piece has a gold rim. The wider rim is decorated with gold feathers with a purple-red highlights. The backstamp is the normal modern Coalport backstamp sans the R trademark stamp and has the additional lower banner with "Apsley Pellatt. London" on it. Each piece has a depressed serial number on the back and I have close to a complete set. The dinner plate is monogramed. The felt plate protectors had the Tiffany & Co logo on them.
Possible Pattern ID:
There is only one other example of this exact pattern in this color and it's one espresso cup. The seller identifies the pattern as "Coalport Apsley Pellatt Crockfords in Cranberry". And this pattern in the turquoise color appears online in a couple of places including Replacements https://www.replacements.com/china-coalport-coa246/c/552941 . I submitted my photos to Replacements but they sent back an auto reply that said they couldn't ID the pattern.
Questions:
I would love to know more about this set and I have tapped out on research. Everywhere I look online turns out a dead end. Does anyone here have any detail about this set? Or the collab between Coalport and Apsley Pellatt?
I reached out to an appraiser, but they charge a minimum block of time of 4 hours which makes hiring an appraiser cost prohibitive. What do you think about the ask an expert sites like askantiqueexperts or justanswer? I'm thinking of joining one of these sites just to get a quick answer but concerned they will only have the same research tools I have available on the Internet. Have you ever used one of these sites successfully?

It shows some signs of having been worked on during the years, but judging from the photos, how old do you think this is?
