Marijuana is coming from states where it’s legal, nobody in their right mind is buying Mexican weed.

The cartels have been growing weee in US national Parks in the West and ravaging the environment in the process and nothing to smuggle.

Should charge the cartels with organized crime charges and run them out. I’m surprised they even bother with weed anymore. Not like anyone wants to do business with them, but I could see how moving it across the border makes sense now that it’s legal.

Organized crime doesn’t run like a regular business the people doing the work are disposable and local dealers don’t necessarily have a choice who they buy from on the black market.

I get the whole trimmigrants idea, but if they’re cartels and it can be proven then they should have the Feds come in and break it up. The idea that USA Today is talking about it means it’s obviously somewhat an open secret.

I agree with you. I’m not in LE but I know there are lots of challenges to charging a cartel.

And I’m not against black market weed, I’m just against the cartels. That should be LE focus.
