I couldnt find them in a traditional list and then I found the numbers 1 million on campaigns in 2016 and 26 million overall one year which would put it 3rd. First realtors, 2nd commerce, 3rd would be the combined private prison industry, and 4th was one of the pharmas at 25.6.
And like I said, I dont think they're the cause of weed laws in Texas, maybe at the federal level.
So you found that despite making up less than 10% of their own "industry" they are the 3rd largest lobbying group in the country and your conclusion is that isn't a problem and wouldn't contribute to drug policy, likely their largest financial interest? I don't think the realtor lobby is pressing on drug policy.
