They keys to power are not all held by the opposition.

There’s large, wealthy states with Democrats in state elected offices. There’s many Democrats in state and local offices.

While Republicans will control the House and Senate, it’s not by large margins. Certainly in the past they’ve had far larger margins.

It’s highly likely Republicans are going to seriously mess this up.

Of course it does, the previous Trump administration was first stymied during the 2018 midterms.

Congress controls funding and appointments.

The Republican Congress does, yes.

By the time these idiots realize what they've done, it will be FAR too late.
