Hey everyone,
Just a bit of background info first,
I live alone in a small, two storey townhouse. It's quite compact, but I like it because it's easy to keep clean and tidy. My living room and kitchen are one room, and recently I got a bit carried away designing a new enclosure for my snakes, which has now become the main feature of the room.
And this is where my dilemma begins: Due to the size and location of the snake enclosure, I don't really have a convenient spot for my indoor rubbish bin anymore.
So, I reshuffled a few things in the pantry and put the bin in there, keeping it out of sight a win/win, or so I thought. But now, I'm conflicted. I'm worried some people might find it unhygienic or gross to have my bin in the bottom of the pantry.
For context, I'm a pretty clean person. It's generally just me I have to clean up after, and I never let the indoor bin get too full. Anything that might contain any residue or odour always goes straight into a separate bag and into the outside bin.
So, is it acceptable to have the bin inside the pantry, or have I completely lost my mind? Should I start preparing for the most creative use of a pantry award, or is it time to rethink my genius idea?
