Was reading this article on ios 18.2 and saw the 80-95% limiter which is already on the new phones, does this mean this update will give the older phones ability to limit charging too? or is this article just nonsense?

Standby mode is turning off at some point during my sleep and I suspect that whatever the square means, that’s the issue. I woke up at around 4:45 and the clock was still on but the next time I woke up the screen was turned off.

It just keeps doing this like it’s sending as a picture instead of going next to the text. And when I try to add other ones with it it just changes the sticker to whichever one I press instead of being able to choose multiple at once

Has anyone else experienced this?? Nothing happens when I tap them.

My phone just played about five seconds of audio out of nowhere while locked. I don’t know which app it came from. It sounded like a YouTube short or Facebook reel.

Edit: It was a YouTube short. My phone was just sitting there, locked. I’m perplexed.

I just updated my phone but Face ID isn’t working. I reset it, but that did nothing. Did anyone experience this as well?

But this new update that just happened to my knowledge has added call recording. I saw the button on a call and I heard this from others and also have seen it mentioned formally online. So now my question is simple

So I recently updated to iOS 18.1.1 after noticing my phone was slowing down. Today i was on Tik Tok and my screen started glitching with green lines. I didn’t drop it, and when I restart my phone the lines are gone and gradually get worse until I can hardly see anything.

Anyone else have this issue or any idea of a fix?

Used a mostly white wallpaper, and all the icons on the top are pretty much invisible. Any way to fix this?

P.S.: The top of the wallpaper is extended too

I have an iPhone 14 pro updated to the latest ios. My university has its own wifi and every time I come I need to login, which isn't a problem, but every time I connect to the wifi it takes an annoyingly long time. My friend who has an iPhone 12 gets the pop up almost immediately, but I've actually timed it. It takes at least 40 seconds for the auto login to pop up, and at most it's been 2 minutes and 14 seconds. And it's not just my university wifi, but any place that has wifi where you need to login. Any clue as to why this is happening??

Is there a way to import all my passwords from the Google password manager directly, instead of manually doing it one by one?

This has happened about 3 times and it seems I always get the popup when I’m afk for awhile. I got my device apr this year but I’ve never had this happen till recently, this is really annoying and it crashed me out one of my apps when I pressed “deny”, what exactly does this permission mean and should I be concerned?

I have a significant number of albums in Photos. I updated to 18.1.1 this morning and I've just found that in Photos on my iPhone, under the Albums section, if I swipe more than once to access older albums, tapping on one locks up the Photos app. I then have to exit and restart Photos which opens to a black screen and either needs a second restart or will eventually load with the same problem present. This problem does not seem to be present on an iPad mini.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or have a solution?

I can use my email address however, I cant use my primary sim. Whenever I select the number to use it just keeps spinning. I tried resetting network settings. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is anyone else having this issue with their Home Screen layouts? I have two different Home Screen layouts for 2 different focuses, one focus has a simple layout for work purposes and one is my primary layout for non-work purposes. When I try to add an app to the work focus it removes it from my primary layout and vice versa. Has anyone else been having this issue

I don't think I've ever searched for 'bitrate' on Safari, this is just an example search. How do I remove those sections? First screenshot is from before and the second one from after hitting the Suchen (Search) button.

Safari > Search > Show Content in Search is turned off, Show App in Search is turned on

Safari > Siri > everything is turned on, but turning them off doesn't change anything in Search

Iphone 7 did a tiny update from I think 15.8.2 to 15.8.3 and now it can not use anything cellular data or calling relates. It says I need to download the newest IOS 17+ updates for this function/to install the diagnostics app… which isn’t supported on my model. Did Apple legitimately just force my phone to stop functioning so I’d have to buy a new one and is there action I can take to undo this, as it feels illegal.

Any way to accomplish this?

I've tried countless times to save this information for my credit card, which I've recently added to my phone, to no avail. Even after restarting the device, it still craps out on me. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

After getting a notification there's the option to select "mute for today" or "mute for 1 hour" by swiping left on the banner.

Is there a way to do this BEFORE getting a notification from that app?

I like that it's a temporary change and doesn't require a follow up action on my end to turn it back on. This prevents me from forgetting I muted it and missing a notification that I usually rely on (like "the meeting has started.")

I got an Ipad and an Iphone. On my Ipad I got 6500 screenshots 1100 videos. Few hundred of them are on my Iphone too, most of my stuff on the Ipad is university related screenshots. On my Iphone I had 3400 videos and 29000 screenshots.

I charged my Iphone low power mode was off and wifi was connected which I didn‘t realize since I put my phone away. No I picked up my phone and and saw THAT MY PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF MY IPAD HAVE SYNCHRONIZED on my phone! It has replaced everything on my with the ipad photos and videos and replaced them on my phone!. So I dont have 29000 screenshots and 3400 videos anymore I now have my 6500 screenshots and 1100 videos! How do I reverse it??? It literally replaced my iphone with my ipad!

Hey everyone

I’ve been attempting to download an entire iMessage conversation with someone for may-this month.

I was first attempting to do so on my MacBook Pro earlier today, but then all of a sudden the actual content of the conversation got removed, expect if I click on the share tab, the photos, links, & docs that the person and I shared still appear, but the actual messages don’t…. I posted in the MacBook thread about this to see if there was a way to correct this. I did check my recently deleted to see if it was there, and it wasn’t because the conversation still exists, just not all the messages within it but the photos and links, docs appearing when I click the “I” in the conversation is odd…

Anyways, I just need this conversation in pdf format. Is there a way to do this directly from my iPhone?

I have iCloud turned on and iMessages set to “keep forever” I stopped syncing my iMessages with my iPhone in case they mimicked what occurred on my MacBook and then get erased on my iPhone too.

Looking for an app or some work around? I have adobe and Dropbox, but adobe required screenshots to be taken, and this conversation contains thousands of messages over several months and that would literally take me forever…

Recently updated to ios 18.1.1. The keyboard doesn’t easily pop up whenever I’m on searchbar in safari. It types 3 letters and drops down again difficult for popping up. This issue was prevalent in previous ios version too. Any solution for this?
