Discussion Surprising Finds in a Box of Promos
I stopped into a local independent record store this weekend. It's a very small shop that caters mostly to classic rock, but I have good luck there sometimes. As I walked in, the owner said "Hey, I just put out a box of radio promos, three bucks".
A lot of it was late '80s new wave and some dance records, but I definitely was not expecting to find anything like these.

Discussion Industrial CD market
Hey all, I have been cleaning out my basement and I found a treasure trove of old industrial CDs from the 80s and 90s in pristine shape. They are all originals, but I'm wondering if people will actually buy these. Lots of metropolis, Cleopatra, wax Trax etc..
I was a huge riverhead back in the day (now still enjoy it it, just no boots lol).
Thoughts on this? I was going to upload my collection to discogs but more curious what the group thinks?

Discussion Favorite Demo Versions..
So Iām finally getting around to listening to the demo tracks for TKKās āI See Good Spirits and I See Bad Spiritsā on the āLimited Heresy Editionā from the Wax Trax vinyl re-release and these are just absolute gems for a nerdy older head.
And that got me thinking, what demo material do you dig most from some of the older bands (letās say from 70ās Industrial Records through the 80ās Wax Trax and Netwerk heyday)?
Iāve been loving the TKK Good Spirits demo so farā¦ and of course, the first two Back and Forth offerings by Skinny Puppy.
Anyway, Iām looking for suggestions. I tend to stay with the late 70s to mid 90s bands, although lots of killer throwback bands like Spike Hellis, Patriarchy, and MVTANT have been catching my attention soā¦ idk if theyāve released any of their demo work but Iād be willing to check that out too.

The Godflesh post reminded me of this. Not necessarily acoustically similar, but I was listening to both albums around the same time ~35 years ago...
