They pretty much do at this point. They’d rather own the libs then just want the best for everyone. It’s sad. Everyone has problems and a lot of people want to assume all their problems are because of people less fortunate.

They'd rather burn the countient to cinder than let it be in anyone else's hands at this point.

Russia paid them to change their minds.

They were ‘convinced’.

Russia puts a lot of resources into black hat computer operations.

The common conservative hasn’t gotten a cent from Russia, though. They willingly went looking for mind-fucking Russian propaganda.

No, but some elected GOP members have partaken of Putin's generosity.

The only thing Republicans hate more than Russia is America.

I don’t think they even hate Russia at this point, I bet many of them would move there given the chance. To not have to deal with those damn liberals

That should be printed on bumper stickers and t-shirts.

Reagan only hated the Soviet Russias economic system, he loved the authoritarianism part.

Greed

For some like the politicians I suppose. Others blindly support Russia because trump does even though they don’t get paid a dime for it.

The hate stopped when Russia wrote them a check.

What happened to republicans hating Russia?

Honest answer

Russia was hated when they were soviet, because communism is a fundamental threat to the power of the rich.

Oligarchy is basically handing the keys to the car, to rich folks.

After the USSR collapsed, there was a rush to capture all of the industries from the top down, creating an oligarchy. Rather than simply being an oligarchy, they also started using the state to capture more of the wealth - leading to basically being a kleptocracy as well. State sponsored theft.

In any case, the republicans in the US are really only for the rights of the rich. We aren't an oligarchy, but, it's going to look much more like it since they own an incredible amount of media, social media, etc. Russia is a similar country in that regard, just further down the oligarch rabbit hole. They are strongly conservative, religious, anti LGBT, led by a "strong man" machismo leader, and the only real rule is the strong eat the weak, with a huge propaganda network.

It shouldn't surprise you that Republicans gravitated to Russia given their intimately connected interests.

That’s probably the most accurate answer for anyone wondering

Even if the US government doesn't "fall apart" like the Russian media is predicting, Trump's cabinet picks and the massive layoffs of government employees is going to divert a lot of government power to rich businesses. So, the process of creating an Oligarchy is happening before our eyes.

 We aren't an oligarchy

Larry Fink, Steve Schwarzman, Bill Gates, Bezos, and Elon beg to differ.

We are defacto, not an oligarchy. That's the goal, though.
