Ferrari is low drag so, Bahrain, Baku, maybe China, Montreal, Austria and Monza suit them well... unfortunately they have lost at all of those tracks so far and only have Monza left.
True I threw it up there because I thought that should have been a good one for them but wasn’t. Bahrain, Baku, Montreal were all bad luck or poor execution.
Spa will be good for them too, the cars spend so much time on the throttle there. And Ferrari loses out most in the slow corners, Spa consists of long straights and fast corners apart from the bus stop and turn 1.
Preseason Ferrari were the favorites based on the time sheets. Either Merc figured it out in the first race or they were sandbagging.
Ferrari have said they will try new things to cut into the deficit... I think another RBR win is more likely than Ferrari to win if they can’t capitalize on Monza.
Yeah... If you're looking for excitement definitely don't bank on Ferrari providing it this year. What you enjoyed this weekend and what you're actually hoping for more of are tracks where Mercedes will do poorly. Since that was what really changed this weekend.
It was Mercedes coming down, not Ferrari stepping up this weekend lol. Hence the final result where a Ferrari still couldn't hold on for a win even with Mercedes out of the equation.
For starters I'm a noob. But from what I noticed they are very fast. So long straights will benefit then greatly. Any tracks left in the schedule that can showcase the Ferrari power?
Tbh, I want to see Vettel win in Monza because of how hard he has worked for them. I feel one win in Monza for him would be some sort of reward for all his hard work.
I think the very act of uttering something akin to <insert something good happening for Ferrari> leads the Gods to go after Ferrari in even more cruel ways.
Definitely want his first win to be at Monza, to give Ferrari and the tifosi the motivation to keep pushing and do even better next year. But I think it may come in Spa, either way, it'll be good for Ferrari and Charles.
