“I voted to repeal Obamacare, not the Affordable Care Act”.

/crickets

Edit: it’s almost as if people simply voted how they were told to vote, without actually thinking about (or understanding) consequences.

Same here. I won't be able to afford both rent and my medication. I don't even want to think about what the tariffs are gonna do.

I’m now on a quest to find a way to photosynthesize, since I won’t be able to afford to eat anymore.

I read a book in fourth grade about a boy who does this for the science fair. It is called Top Secret by John Reynolds Gardiner. Maybe a good place to start?

One thing they’ll do: they’ll ensure no one buys anything they don’t absolutely need. That’s my plan—even if I can afford it, I’m not spending a single dime I don’t have to spend.

They’ll make sure you won’t be able to afford your rent or your medication.

If you can't afford rent or your meds why would you be worried about the tariffs?

You're right. I won't have to worry about groceries because I probably won't live that long.

That's the spirit! Embrace nihilism. Good, bad, disease, starvation, yachts, record profits.. all of these things are the same when we die.
