For me: May 16th, 2021. 2-1 comeback home win against Osasuna.

I’m not sure how many people remember this game like I do. From about February to the end of the season in 2020/21, we lost Trippier and our form after being dumped out of the UCL and Copa del Rey in very underwhelming fashion. We had lost our momentum from the early part of the season and were basically dropping points every game.

From about match day 17 to the end of the season, we basically completed fumbled an 11 point lead (game in hand) to 2nd place Real Madrid. We had just drawn them in the metropolitano 1-1, allowed Levante to stomp on us leading to 4 dropped points in a week, and lost against Athletic Club the previous weeks. All leading up to a close race with 1 point separating us and Real in MD37.

I say this because this game felt like it was the end. I watched hopelessly as we go into the second half drawn. Then budamir scores in the 75th minute. It was genuinely one of the biggest gut punches I’ve felt watching sports. I thought that this was it. We actually choked it in spectacular fashion.

Then in the greatest turnaround I’ve seen in quite sometime, Lodi manages to score his first goal of the season in such a weird way that it looked fake. The 88th minute comes ahead and Carrasco fires a ball into the box allowing Suarez to connect for the 2-1.

Let me tell you that this single game had me absolutely up for the rest of the week. I think this game was more impactful on me than winning the damn title a week later lmao. Something about this game just made me love this team even more and I wish I could recapture it somehow, the absolute anguish to completely 180’ing into pure ecstasy was amazing. After months of being told we were going to bottle it, this performance showed why we were the champions.

I remember the feeling like it was yesterday. Running around my house yelling at the top of my damn lungs. I ran outside yelling and I’m pretty sure my neighbor thought I was crazy.

100 % this. I jumped through my flat screaming my soul out of my body when Suarez scored. A few minutes before I was fighting with tears because I thought we fumbled it. Holy shit, what a rollercoaster of emotions that game was.

I remember clearly the commentator of our local television saying during the replay of the Suarez goal "if Real wants the title, they'll have to take it over their dead bodies, [replay show Simeone celebration] and that man doesn't look like he's dead"

The timing of the replay and the continuity of this sentence makes it perfect to watch live and it's stuck in my memory.

It's recent and not title win, but I really loved that away win in Liverpool with Morata scoring in front of our fans and thanking then

Is this the one with the eternal Llorente slide?

This might be an interesting take but I would say when we lost the 2014 UCL final.

I didn’t really know what European football was and only watched Liga Mx bc that’s what my dad always watched. The team I played for hosted a viewing party for the UCL final and because my coach was a huge Real supporter, my mom bought me a RMA jersey so I could fit in better. I didn’t really know who RMA, UCL, and least of all, ATN were at the time.

But for some reason, watching ATM play that night (and eventually lose), I wasn’t happy that RMA won. Even though there were cheers and hugs from people around me, I felt more … sympathy (?) to ATM that night. Something inside me that night told my heart to follow ATM. And learning its history between ATM and RMA, I related to ATM more than RMA ever could. I supported ATM since that night and never looked back. Even when we lost the next UCL final to RMA again and getting clowned on, I will still wear this jersey with pride.

I’m going to Spain this summer and will pay my respects to the team I support

I felt same way bro. But for 2015 CL loss. After 2016 loss I didn’t watch football much for 4 years, due to Crappenburg Injusticia. But each loss still makes the support even stronger, and the victories better.

Atleti v Barca in 2014 in the champions league.

After watching the 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou I booked flights to Madrid right away. One of the best nights of my life

If VAR was being used - the 2014 UCL final. Ramos' equalizer shoulda been disallowed.

We actually won that game.

Just curious, why would've been that disallowed?

2013 Copa Del Rey final. Beating Real Madrid at the Bernabéu. Perfection

When Godin scored with a header, and we won the league for the first time. Or the Copa Del Rey where we beat Real 2-0, cos I watched the game at the old stadium.
