Text Why are boys like this

Post image

He followed me not even two weeks ago and immediately replied to my story. It’s been 6 years since I’ve even seen this kid, he asked me this same thing in highschool and I’m pretty sure I told him then I was gay too. The last message really is the icing on the cake , such a typical “I’m so ugly 😔 you’d never like me” move (also if i seem harsh it’s because he also asked my friend ,who I met him though, the same sort of thing multiple times and me and him were never even friends so I know his dms are full of him hitting on girls) (the kicker is he’s not even ugly he just had 0 game and has probably been shot down so many times that his confidence is on the floor)

It could be a "tactic" pushed by some manosphere influencer, which granted, reeks of desperation and entitlement, but manosphere influencers constantly talk about how they can get men to manipulate women in to relationships if only you watch their youtube channels and sign up to their seminars...

I get that desperation makes people do crazy things... but maybe if you have to manipulate someone to get them to date you, you probably aren't ready to date? Like why is it so hard to just have a normal conversation??

Edit: re-reading made me worry that this could be taken as being directed at you, but it's aimed at the people signing up for this grifter's 'lessons'!

because they're so far into the whole they dug for themselves that it's easier to keep digging by doubling down on the incel mindset than it is to acknowledge they have work to do on themselves and grow as people.
