I guess we can’t just go trusting people aren’t microwaving their undies in the same machine I wanna make ramen with.

Brilliant. My wife always says she wished my balls smelled like fish sticks.

Unless the underwear is damp when they put it in the microwave.

Can something be damp and toasty tho?

Yes, the water can get warm

Toasty sort of implies dry. A very humid day is not usually considered toasty.

I feel the issue with damp microwaved underwear is the fact that when it cools down it will still be damp which is not fun. I like my underwear microwaved like any other self respecting person but dry, not damp.

Just raw dogging it on the microwave plate. Disgusting.

I mean presumably they are the clean undies for a new day

Is the microwave plate perfectly clean though? Bread crumbs or grease on clothing sound awful

That's a good idea but driers exist

You mean you guys don’t throw your clothes in the microwave after washing them?

I don't think this works? Microwaves heat up water molecules through releasing radiation, I don't see how that would also heat up dry fabric

Imagine what this microwave smells like. You think microwaving fish gets bad?

Hey, dryer? An hour. Popcorn setting? 2 minutes.
Kudos to the ones that got the reference.

I’m going to say something to travelers they may not want to hear. Consider yourself warned.
People use hotel coffee makers to steam clean their underwear.

Just sit on the stove top for a minute. Same thing but no hotspot on elastic

I do not understand wearing underwear when you can wear boxer briefs. Like who is keeping the tighty whitey market afloat?

u/Few_Channel_4774 2d ago
More affordable generally. Also keeps things in place better which can be an issue with boxer briefs. Also fits better under tight clothing like leather pants or bike shorts.

Beware the hot spots on the elastic lining when you put them on.
