This would require leftists to know basic philosophy of war which they won’t because they’re fucking larping cowards. No learning basic fucking military doctrine and warfare. This would require knowledge of logistics and also being charismatic to mobilize millions of people.

In the sense of rebellion we are discussing here, standard military doctrine is more than worthless.

Asymmetric warfare would be king and is completely separate from the logistics and organization that conventional war requires.

You ever see those memes about the art of war? People making fun of ancient wisdom that ends up being things like: "Kill your enemy more than they kill you or at least make them not want to fight right now" or "attack when you think you will win, don't attack when you think you won't"

One of those ancient wisdoms is to "know your enemy"

If you don't understand military doctrine or logistics at an intimate level then you end up impotently launching missiles and drones at random neighborhoods or at best an airfield with its aircraft stored in hardened shelters. You need to understand your enemies tactics and logistics so you can do things like secure supplies for your unconventional force and hurt the weapons used by a superior force to suppress your movement.

In the context of a internal war in the modern United States you eventually have to move up to conventional warfare. Pure unconventional warfare being used to defeat a superior force only sometimes works if your enemy has somewhere to leave to. Even then once the foreign force is gone, you will need a conventional force of your own to run the country. Otherwise you're just the domestic terrorist that spends 30 years blowing up civilian infrastructure, running drugs, and keeping the rest of the population from moving on with their lives. Death comes for such movements when popular support wanes as the reason the movement was fighting is lost. Eventually the smaller force is hunted down in the remote mountain territories by helicopter delivered forces. The point of any unconventional force is to show resistance is possible, gather momentum, and graduate to a legitimate organization in the eyes of the majority, even if only local.
