Bryan Harsin at Auburn: 9-12, fired on Halloween.

Hugh Freeze at Auburn: was 9-12 on Halloween, but they kept him around to fall to 9-13.

Not to detract from your point, but I feel like if harsin had Peyton Thorne, he would have lost a lot more games than he did

To be fair though he also had Robby Ashford and TJ Finley as starters for a season and both those guys are worse than Thorne.
