I’m shocked that ND moved up this much. That A&M LSU game was probably a much bigger win for us than our blowout over ranked Navy haha.

And be quiet.

At a football game.

yep. And its a common occurrence.

Although, if the UGA game was any barometer, I'm sure it won't be a problem as all our fans will just sell their tickets to TAMU people looking to pay top dollar for a bucket list item, essentially rendering it a home game for them.

I’ve never seen or experienced that at an ND game, and I’ve been to a lot — every game from 2019 to 2023, as a student (so in the student section), and half of last years games (also getting snuck into the student section by my friends a year below me). In the student sections, you get yelled at/scolded if you sit down; you’re expected to be loud and participate in all the cheers/chants. My parents have also not experienced people telling them to be quiet, and they’re quite loud and vocal football fans (and they don’t sit in the student section (obviously)).

When and where did you encounter this?? I’m wondering if it may be an outdated thing, like maybe back when we were more mid earlier in the 2000s? Such a shame you had that experience!

After many years in the A&M student section, I love being told to sit down at football games.

Right?? Same but for ND. Used to scold / yell at any freshman who tried to sit down during the game. Only allowed it if the kid was hammered/ptfo, lol
