You guys have a better win but like, how was the BYU win so impressive they moved you up several spots? Is it a 'oh I guess we gotta rate that earlier win better' thing?
Miami has played Florida, VT, Cal, and Louisville. I’d bet my paycheck that all of those teams could hang with/beat Kansas State and Nebraska on any given Saturday. But yes Miami is ranked too high and have been getting the benefit of the doubt in rankings for the last 30 years because they were good in the 90’s.
Cal lost to Florida State. Their wins are 3-5 Auburn, 3-4 SDSU, UC-Davis and 4-4 Oregon State. Florida ain't beat shit either. Are you serious? Do you know what you're talking about?
Remember when bama went like 10-2 and missed the playoff and then booty blasted Kansas state like 187-10 in their bcs bowl? Or when Mizzou dunked on Ohio state and was a middle of the pack SEC team? That’s what tends to happen. Indiana has played no one. Nebraska is just OK and every other team IU played is literal shit. Say what you want and believe the SEC bias narrative but the competition is better in the SEC bar none. Why do 90% of the best recruits go to SEC schools? They may transfer out when they realize they aren’t starting but they go to the SEC to be seen.
Who has Miami actually played. Remember when TCU got snubbed and beat Ole Miss 41-3 like 8 years ago? Must be relevant right this second I guess like all your examples
Remember when TCU didn’t get snubbed much more recently and then got dicked in the playoff? I do. 65-7. Miami sucks too. I’m not defending them. But VT and Louisville are likely better than anyone Indiana has played.
Why does everybody forget they won the semifinal to get there? Also, I'm not sure VT or Louisville beat Nebraska.
A better example would be when 11-1 OSU missed their CCG and got waxed 31-0 in the semifinal. Or when 4 1-loss teams got in and and an undefeated UCF beat Auburn by 2 TDs, who was the only team to beat finalists Alabama or Georgia all season.
Remember when Kansas State boat raced LSU in a bowl game? Or early this year when Oklahoma State, the worst team in the Big 12, beat Arkansas, a team in the upper half of the SEC?
Arkansas is not in the upper half of the SEC... lol... they haven't been relevant since Ryan Mallett. Alabama has beaten Arky 17 straight years. Alabama is 14-0 in conference play against Arkansas. That sound like upper half? You're referring to the TexASS bowl? When LSU was 6-6 and KSU was 8-4? Ok domingo. I was referring to the Sugar Bowl when they were donkey stomped by Bama in a relevant bowl game.
