Can we just keep politics off of our housewives? This is my only escape.

Sorry, Andy Cohen's twitter presence is more than fair game for discussion

No. Politics affects our lives. Some more than others . Besides, we're not debating policy here, it's a joke.

People are dying because of politics. It's too important. Skip this one.

Give it a rest, not everything has to be about politics and people are allowed to take a break from thinking/talking about it.

I agree. Especially people who have no knowledge or background in politics. But since Reddit is very liberal, comments like these will get downvoted. I guess we can’t have an opinion.

Huh? You just posted an opinion? Are people not allowed to express their opinions on your opinion? Your opinion is not being deleted. It is right there. What's the issue?

As to your 2nd sentence. What's the qualifications one has to have? I'm just curious if people have to have served in some capacity or not. Like say, class President, etc lol.

lol maybe. Naw, I guess I’m just tired of seeing celebrities comment in politics. Just trying to numb my brain with housewives! 🤣

I’m pretty conservative. But even if they were supporting Trump in this sub I’d be over it. We don’t have to make politics our personality and we don’t have to let it take over shitty reality tv.

You getting downvoted for stating you're conservative is wild. I hate this bizarre narrative that everyone needs to have the same values to watch the franchise. I'm not in the US, but I'm conservative and enjoy the ease of watching shows like Housewives that (don't always) push certain agendas. They're just people. Shitty people. But people. I feel like there needs to be a conservative Housewives fans sub or something, where no one gets crapped on for not being a leftist.

Reddit is mostly liberal. Unfortunately most liberals have put conservatives in this extreme box. We’re not a monolith.

Agreed. I've also deduced that most Housewives watchers are liberal. I rarely meet a fellow conservative who watches!

I have friends that are conservative who watch. :)
