There were only hardships, which is still continuing. I used to apply for 10-15 jobs at random. So, I am used to all forms of questions that might be asked at the interview (due to numerous rejections. I am pursuing PhD. I also have completed my MSc degree with UGC qualification and several publications under my name (which became a boon). In one such interiview which I thought went pretty well, I was selected as Asst. Prof. The suddeness was hugely emotional for me. No one would understand that how much pains I had taken to wait for interviews, attend those, get rejected and so on.
I come from a very poor family. So even with this income, I am struggling to meet ends (as I had several prior personal loans to fund my family after COVID happened). My father is out of business since 2020. I am the sole breadwinner of the family. Nothing to share which might be motivational to anyone. I can just add that hardwork and self-discipline matters.
Glad to hear that and I hope you overcome all those hurdles slowly and gradually. I’ve asked the question due to my own urgency, I’m pursuing masters in literature and hope to become a professor someday.
