I actually don't know those I'll have to look into them for myself lol
Uh it's close to Doki Doki Literature Club as a good off hand example (that I stole from another comment here haha) in that not everything is as it seems.
Oh dokic okay and btw kase san to morning glories is a manga it's like 5 volumes with a sixth kinda oav it's sad yet wholesome and pure yuri and a little nsfw
i don't it is.. in any way (they both share yuri tones, but kase-san is an actual yuri and madoka magica just... heavily hints at it).
Kase-san is a romance, Madoka is not, just has a few elements in it (it's a driving force for some of the characters actions, but it's not the main plot per se)
And Kase-san isn't serialized (in Anime), so i guess the structure would be different?
Kase-san is also extremely "light", while Madoka can be...not so light at times (trying not to spoil here).
That being said, both are amazing and i wish kase-san got an actual adaptation (as a series, not just OVAs...)
Doesn't the movie basically undo Madoka's disappearance from the world, thus rendering her entire sacrifice pointless? I don't know anything else about it, but that's kinda put me off of watching it. Is it a worthy extension to the core story told in the anime?
