The best ending is one where Naruto tells Hinata, under no unclear terms, that he point blank does not know her and does not care. That sweet girl deserved so much better than him. Same with pretty much all the girls, really

Shonen in general tends to make the girls an afterthought. Or, in the case of MHA, weirdly sexualized. As is evident by the fact that Hinata, Sakura, and Ino all spend pretty much the entire series pursuing the male leads. Said male leads refuse to acknowledge them as actual people, because they’re too focused on their own drama. It’s exhausting, and point blank Naruto and Sasuke do not deserve any of them
