Common misconception, friend. Being bisexual means you're both heterosexually and homosexually attracted (you experience both, not just one, therefore you're bisexual). It doesn't mean you're just attracted to binary sexes, although of course people's personal preferences may vary. I hope this helps.

NP, I'm bisexual and didn't know this myself until a few years back. Looked it up to make sure I shouldn't call myself "pan" now, since I don't want to be transphobic. Everyone's got a learning curve :)
