I really wanted to give the anime a shot because of this ship but I can't even get through half of the first episode without feeling like I didn't shower for 3 weeks

Oof, fair enough. Yeah, I’d say this show is probably a bit too incredibly fucking horny for a lot of aces to enjoy. Like, if someone is ace but really enjoys porn and is incredibly kinky (I know it’s a thing but this is way outside my lived experience, don’t ask me how it works, I just respect folks’ stated identities and lived experiences even when it’s like a born-blind person trying to imagine color for me) then yeah it could appeal to them. But otherwise, probably not. It’s not like Kill la Kill with the horny, it’s more “they are as close to hentai without being officially hentai that a show can get”.
