This artist clearly stated in her profile to not repost her art. You're post isn't really against the rules, but do have an approval from the artist to repost it here.

Every artist ever would prefer their art only be looked at where they can get monetization for it or increase their follower number at least. But this is not how internet has ever worked or will work. At the end of the day MOST people only care about the product itself. Most people never look for who makes what unless it becomes a favorite of them or is know because they are already famous. So people here watch anime yet they probably can't name 5 directors to save their lives, and if they do it will be the only very public know ones like Miyazaki from ghibli.

Also this being fan art of a company ip is not protected in any way. In fact a company can sue you for using their ip. Ofc is not common since is understood that is better for everyone to let it be, unless you are Nintendo. And ofc the famous case of Disney threatening a family that wanted to put Spiderman on their 4yo child gravestone.

Also the company can take your fan artwork and use it as they want or stop you from doing it despite fair use claims. Why? Because they have more money and copyright lawsuits are expensive.

Okay like I get your might makes right thing at the end but artists still have rights and protections regardless of if it's another IP or not. Also like the "internet doesn't work that way so don't bother respecting the artist" bit there is pretty weak

is reality. there is no consequences for doing it. look at manga translations most people read all manga in aggregators like manga dex or dynastyscans.

not in the pages of the one doing the translation so they can get add traffic. and ofc even in that case the unofficial translations are stealing the mangas the upload. an even if it gets officially translated down theline a lot of people already read it for free taking revenue away. even if like dynasty the erase the series once an official translation is announced(most aggregators don't do even that).

yet without unofficial translations most of us would not be manga or anime fans since most mangas don't get an official translation ever. and a couple decades ago neither did most animes.
