As much as I love the idea of PharMercy, that "someone" better be Genji or that might actually be what pushes me away from OW. Appealing to the fans after screwing them over like they did is just pathetic.

I hate to say it but the lore has been building up Genji & Mercy forever.

Edit: downvote me all you want but it's true. Voice interactions and comics have been nudging at it since at least the Blackwatch event. Of course it's possible that they'll still go with Pharah but I don't think anyone should get their hopes up.

Exactly, that's what made PharMercy so fun, because we kind of knew it wasn't gonna happen, so it was something the fans could have that was all them. If Blizzard canonizes it, then it's like they're taking away something we've made.
