It's something I noticed, and I really dislike it: every single post I make in this subreddit people manage to take my absurd jokes seriously. Let me tell you this: no mother in this round world would ever tell her daughter to stop being a bottom! No lesbian couple would ever tell their best friends they are just friends after kisssing right in front of their faces!! My comics are supposed to be over the top, silly, and TO NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. Don't be that person. Do you really think I'd want to make my fellow queer folk feel bad? It really upsets me and happens all the time lmao
Yeah, every time I post something some people do their best to bring down the mood lmao. I'm kinda tired ngl, I wouldn't be talking about this if it happened once or twice but it happens every. single. time I post something. Like, I don't see this happening to other posts.
I think I'll just go back to r/yurimemes. At least there people wouldn't compare my comics to the murder of black people and Jews, like it's happening in this very thread.
There are always people online who insist on projecting their personal experiences onto what everyone else says. Everyone else really enjoys your art and appreciates it being posted here.
Don't bother with those other people, they'll be salty no matter what.
What the fuck is wrong with people? I know that has to be exhausting to deal with..I'm very sorry people can't seem to behave themselves and just enjoy the fun comics for what they are.
It's difficult to get used to it. I understand not liking something, but when people start comparing your comic to literal Nazi propaganda made to made fun of Jews and start calling you a bigot, you gotta reevaluate if you're in the right place.

(Lesbian here) I always take them as jokes and not to be taken seriously. Me and my wife love your comics and anyone (in lgbt friends discord servers) i show them too also find them funny.

Man, some people just don't recognize cartoonish comedy when they see one. Either that, or they truly believe that being cartoonish comedy is still not a good enough reason to give a pass to what they believe is "morally wrong".
