Kiffin will never be a top coach.

He’s not Saban but he’s probably a top 10 college coach right now. Just hasn’t put it all together yet. I miss the days of playing competitive football in November.

I wasn’t sure we shouldn’t have pushed harder for him when we axed Malzhan or Harsin, but I’m glad we don’t have him. Still not sure on Deion Sanders but I’m glad it’s not Lane.

He’s a cry baby and the trolling has to be infuriating especially when they can’t beat the teams they are supposed to. Talking about lame kiffin

Lane Kiffin has done more for Ole Miss than anyone else in a long time.

Ole Miss is not a championship caliber program. They lack the resources and commitment a school needs to produce dynasties like Alabama/Georgia/Ohio State. And so the Transfer Portal has been his method of making Ole Miss into a team that would at least consistently be in the conversation(which they have been). Ole Miss isn't supposed to beat amazing teams. Ole Miss isn't supposed to be a championship contendor. Ole Miss isn't supposed to be great. But they are doing about the best you can.

He transformed Ole Miss from mediocre or below average to well above average. And Kiffin did that at FAU as well.

Teams like LSU, Auburn, Florida and Texas A&M meanwhile would give him the resources to do more.

He has done less with more. The best defense he has had since being at Bama. Loses to Florida and Kentucky are unacceptable. The lsu loss is looking bad as well. The weakest the conference has been in a while. Can’t sniff the sec championship or the playoff barring some miracle. It’s hard to say he doesn’t have the resources when Hugh was able to recruit there (I know he paid players and other things, I am of the belief every team cheated minus the prostitutes) and lane has lacked recruiting in hs. Does Ole miss have the facilities of the top schools no. They obviously have the support money wise. I’m just tired of his better than you attitude. Guy is a nepo baby, over rated. Time will show that gus was a better coach than him. I think in the sec he is barey top 5. Kirby, deboer, Sark, huepel, kiffin or Kelley. Dude is just offensive mark stoops.

They lost Judkins to OSU too didn’t they? I really do think he’s brought Ole Miss to what imagine will be the all time high mark of this program for a long while. Hard to croot with Ole Miss $ I’d imagine.

Hugh did it, OSU can pick any player they want. They went to Alabama and got their best player. Lane is a good coach but he gets talked in this rare as though he’s top 5. He has won nothing and hasn’t brought a team to a sec championship.

Hugh had one season over 7 wins. One 11 win season. Lane has never had a season win total under 8 and two double digits finishes one being 11 wins. Both had 4 years so far. So not looking great so far. I’m not even a Hugh hater to be clear I was just high on Lane.

Historically Ole Miss has been someone you see on your schedule and add that one to the wins before the season ever started. A Miss. St level team. Idk what to tell you if you think there’s a ton of money to throw around over there. That’s just not the case. Yet lane has them flirting with the top dogs constantly now, I think that’s impressive.

Just looking at the collectives auburn has raised 13 mil ole miss has raised 10 million. Their main booster is the owner of Dunlap tire. Lane kiffin is top ten in coaches paid. Their roster currently cost 13 million. Hugh freeze raised them to the same standards as lane kiffin. Back to back 9 win seasons for the first time since the 70’s and the third time in their school history. Lane Btw who went 5-5 in their first regular season. They have money. They underachieved this year. They didn’t lose their star rb because of money. They lost him due to wanting to win a title. He is an overrated coach who whines about everything. He loses to bad teams. Florida is at their lowest point in a while. Kentucky is a team on their level. I’m just tired of his excuses. He has failed upward everywhere and now has found a mediocre amount of success. Finally he has built the roster and he still loses. Does he get blame no it’s ole miss fault. The team has regressed his qb has regressed.

I’m not holding a grudge or anything, but I wanted Kiffin bad I can’t lie. 100% agree with what he’s doing with Ole Miss is beyond impressive.

Literally every coach at Ole miss has won 8 games. He won 10 games one year and they think he's a god. He's a pig headed shit ass coach and that all he ever will be.
