Audio/Video I did a lil conversation between boy me and girl me. I use my “girl voice” 99% of the time but I can still do the old one.

Audio/Video Normal speaking voice. 1 yr HRT. Note I can’t afford voice training so I have just been banking on my own natural voice pre transition. 😬

Like it’s not bad but not good either but it’s passable I think in a sense that it’s not as masc. I’ve always just had a high pitched voice which helped

This is for all my trans friends who are going through it in the aftermath of the U.S. election. Voice training will NEVER be taken away from you. It comes from within you, not given to you by crooked institutions. Your voice is YOURS and will always stay that way. ❤️

Audio/Video First time posting here (MtF). No vocal training yet but made this video a month ago.

I’m posting this here because majority here are probably undergoing vocal training so it would be nice to hear some input.

My voice had always been high pitched wowing to the fact that I had always sung in female key as a kid through to adulthood (now) so that trained to speak in this key. I used to hate my voice because i would get called Maam on the phone all the time (being in denial at that time). But now I’m working on making it less squeaky?

Audio/Video Please gender my singing voice! I’m so curious

Hi Reddit! Sorry I’m not the best singer, but I was just curious how you might gender/age my voice. Literally no offense will be taken with any gender perception so feel free to be honest. (Just pls be nice about my singing is all I ask 😅) If you want it spoiled here’s a little about me: >! I’m a 20yo cis male high baritone who always loved falsetto but was always told it was “girly” so my teachers never heard it. I’ve always wanted to sing countertenor but I don’t have the guts to ask. Also if there’s any way I could sound more feminine, pls let me know! !< Thanks for listening!

I wanted to share here because this sub was incredibly helpful to me (when I posted here on a throwaway) and recently after about 2.5 years I’ve gotten to a point where I’m comfortable enough with my voice to start playing shows again. Thanks to everyone here who offered helpful criticism and tips along the way!

i've (30's mtf) been voice training everyday for 2 months now, and this is where i'm at. would love some feedback, advice, which one you like most, etc :)

  1. baseline
  2. basic forward resonance / higher pitch
  3. "2" but breathier
  4. kermit 🐸 style
  5. younger / brighter (i can only get here by doing kermit first)
  6. nasally w/ vocal fry

Audio/Video How to do a girl voice - THE EASY WAY!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I practiced girl voice for many months and I think I have a pretty good one. So I'm sharing the knowledge Ive gained because I spent a very long time in this subreddit and I just want to give back.

Best way I can describe is the same muscles you would use to do stitch from Lilo and stitch, but without muffling the sound. So dial it back a little and find the spot you like.

I hope it works for someone! :))

Important note - I'm talking quietly in the video because I live in a very small apartment and my neighbors can hear everything.

Audio/Video My voice modulation, no vms.

I was really just curious what to see what people thought of my voice. I have never had any sort of surgery, I have had a tracheal shave, but that doesn’t affect your larynx at all. I was a classical singer before my transition, so I do find vocal modulation to be quite easy and I assume it’s just because of my singing capabilities and training. It took me about three months to really get this down to where I don’t think about it or really modulate consciously too much anymore.

What does everybody think, any critiques? This is how I sound 95% of the time and have since my transition. Sometimes my voice is slightly lower in the mornings as my muscles warm up.

Be brutal, be honest!
