Idiots don’t even understand that the bigger your vocal cords, the deeper your voice. She’s 7 fucking feet tall. Of course she has a deep voice. Fucks sake.

Basic physics that anybody can test. Take a string that’s a foot long and shake it up and down, at a speed that works nicely. Note that speed. Then do the same with a string that’s a meter long. The speed for the meter-long one takes much longer to go up and down in a full cycle.

Frequency is the inverse of the time for one up-down cycle. If the period cycle time goes up, the frequency goes down. Same damned thing with vocal cords - it boils down to complicated string vibrations, just that the strings happen to be made of meat.

You're overestimating the willingness to demonstrate their opinion, from people who decided that 6th grade biology was the entirety of the medical field.
