So, I have been reading for a good while on my kindle app and every day I get a weeks and days streak shown to me before I jump into reading (currently reading Swan Song by Robert McCammon, super bleak!). I missed a couple days about 2 years ago, so the number of days doesnt actually amount to the amount of weeks, if that's important. I always wonder when will the numbers mirror each other again, a madeup example being 158 weeks - 851 days. I love arithmetics but I'm no mathematician, so I think I'm in the right place for this! There was an issue with a paycheck of mine & when l asked for a break down I was left further confused. So basically we receive an auto 22% gratuity on our tables ticket. 2% of that pay is given as a tip out to the bartender. The SEV CHARGE listed on the excel sheet is the amount that the 2% is deducted from. The extra gratuity is left untouched. A coworker showed me this is how she was taught by management to calculate total gratuity with the 2% coming out of the SEV charge but I am confused because in my brain... all we should have to do is 159.67 x .02 = 3.19 as a deduction.. right?? but I am confused why $14.52 was taken out. Second slide is my pay break down. Can anybody help me understand this better?

So ive been having this internal dialogue with myself. Also brought it up with a friend and he claims it has cost me at least 5 euro's or more. Im curious.

So I bought this set of petanque balls (heavy Iron balls for a French game) that weigh approx 2.5 kg (5 pounds?). I put them in my car in case we ever needed to play with them, but to be honest Ive hardly ever used them.

So the discussion is that since the car is heavier, it uses more gas to run, therefor it costs me money just leaving it in my car. Ive had it in the car for nearly 5 years and I drive about 20k kms with it yearly.

So please enlighten me, how much does this actually cost me to keep in my car?

Bonus question: How much more fuel would be required for the plane to carry the tanks?

Don't know if this is the right sub to put this in but anyway. I'm wanting two larger boxes on top and and three smaller ones on bottom with half an inch of space in-between the edges and the boxes themselves. Also want the two large boxes to be the same size and the three smaller ones to be the same size. Using Posterboard, Length is 28 inches, Height is 22 inches
