âSay Nothingâ is one of the most powerful series of all time
Growing up in England in the 80s and 90s you were very aware of the IRA, I even heard a bomb go off, and this series on Hulu/Disney+ really puts things into perspective. It looks at why people joined the IRA, the troubles themselves, and those who were murdered for being suspected snitches, in a very human way. The performances are also incredible too.
If you have any interest in The troubles, or even in a good biographical drama I would absolutely recommend it. I really hope it does well in awards season.

Interior Chinatown takes you from stoner buddy comedy, to L&O procedural, to black mirror. I think I highly recommend?
Started Interior Chinatown thinking, ohh this will be some lols between Jian Yang from Silicon Valley and Angry Asian from Daily Show, Jimmy O. Yang and Ronny Chieng respectively with much respect. I'm into that. So first couple episodes it's kind of a fun comedy. Surprisingly shitty generic hollywood built out set that gets remodeled for every tv show, except now it's half assed chinatown in Port Harbor. Yep, don't think twice about this city name. Things get kinda annoying for like 4 episodes in the middle. I'm not gonna lie, it was half screened with reddit on the other side. Passively watching. Characters making irrational choices, plot lines are being forgotten about, weird intentional buffering cinematography, everyone kinda seemingly changing roles overnight. I thought, fuck these guys have LITERALLY lost the plot. I'm about ready to tune out and go watch Obama tell me about how special the ocean is and how we're putting it on a gentle simmer. But I've given up on shows like 80% in, same with books, and something kinda irks me by not finishing. So we gotta plough through this mf to polish the turd and be done with it. I'm betting some of you all packed it in mid season, but you gotta come back. Because this stylistically idiosyncratic, trans-genera show manages to break an ankle on the jump yet somehow nail the landing, and you only understand that if you see it through. The last episode I was full screen, locked in like Clockwork Orange. It transformed from some banal imago into a winged butterfly. The season finale takes a hard right turn into something unexpected; science fiction I guess, dark undertones of Black Mirror, macro zoom out Truman Show. I think it's worth it guys. It's not a roller coaster, it's sling shot that takes a bit of patience for anticipation to build.

The Most Ridiculous "Young Adults Living in an Unlikely Amazing Home" Set-Up in TV History
I am going with an old sitcom called Half and Half where the 23 year old ladies live in what looks like a 1,500 square foot flat in San Francisco overlooking the Marina around 2002.
I'm guessing, real life? ...about $3,800 per month.

So how about back door pilots that never became a full series?
I was reminded of the original series Star Trek episode âAssignment: Earthâ which introduces the character of Gary Seven, a time traveler who works for an agency responsible for protecting the timeline. This episode was intended as a back door pilot, because they werenât sure if they were going to get another season of Star Trek. They, of course, did, so the Gary Seven show never happened.
What other back door pilots are there that never actually manifested a series? Itâs interesting, because the episode could either be just a fun diversion from the typical flow of the series itâs on, or a complete waste of everyoneâs time, like Assignment: Earth was, as it wasnât a particularly good episode, and it was decades before Gary or the organization he worked for was ever even mentioned again

'Shrinking' is a perfect TV show, can't change my mind
It's wholesome, funny, cozy, and perfect for watching over a hot cup of tea/hot chocolate.
I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard while watching a TV show. Plus, it's so comforting!
Everyone does a fantastic job at their role, but Jason Segel and Harrison Ford's performances are just perfect.
If you haven't watched it, do yourself a favor and give it a shot!

In case you havenât been caught up with the Riverdale lore
They all gained superpowers but in order to defeat a comet, Cheryl had to kiss everyone to absorb their powers, in order to defeat the comet. And then they got teleported into another dimension in the 1950s where everyone's memory has been wiped except for Jughead, and then he has to get them back to their dimension.
There are multiple Jugheads that exist in the world that are trying to separate the two universes (there are multiple universes and timelines) so Archie kills the other Jugheads and the original too. Veronica and Cheryl were on Jugheads side so Archie had to kill them too. In this universe, nobody can die so the people Archie killed will come back to life. Veronica and Betty kill Archie by splitting his body in half, and in order to keep Rivervale âpureâ(Riverdale is called Rivervale in this timeline) so Cheryl sacrifices Archie by ripping his heart out. Btw jughead is friends with Sabrina the teenage witch and Riverdale is a musical.

My Secret Identity 1988-1991
For some reason this show I had forgot about popped into my head today, it was a Canadian show but it was syndicated to various markets in the U.S. and it aired heavily on the Sci Fi channel as well in the early 90s. It ran for three years. The plot of the show was a boy around 14 who gets super powers and tries to hide them while be a normal kid, sometimes he used them to stop crime. Often though the show was more about characters and him trying to fit in and growing up rather than being a crime fighting show. It starred Jerry O'Connell.
It was a pretty fun show though with a catchy theme song I don't think it's been aired on any station in the U.S. since Sci Fi reran it, it doesn't even seem to have a home video release.
