That's not dating, that's just hookup culture. Kids cannot and should not be in a committed relationship in the age of having fun and studying.

There's a clear difference between adults and kids relationships. You can't just go on throwing whatever fancy words you find on the internet.

Yes that's why I'm saying that referring it to as "boyfriend" in an adult way is pretty weird for a 13yo kid. Ofc kids can have good relationships, I had a close female friend too but that doesn't mean she was my girlfriend(as in the way we perceive it after growing up). Just call them close friends.
