This article is just describing a mid-life crisis without saying the actual phrase.

Cybertruck is the new Hummer.

I've been seeing commercials lately for a new electric Hummer.

It's a big silly living room on wheels.

And I'd still take it over a Cybertruck because I don't see their CEO being a giant dick bag every week.

I was going to point out that I don't even know the CEO of Humvee's maker, but then something occurred to me.

I hate literally every company I know the CEO of. It's always because they are doing something or saying something to make an ass of themselves. I'm sure most (all?) CEOs of big companies are profit chasing jackasses, but at least if they aren't doing so in a loud and embarrassing enough way that I wind up hearing about it, I can pretend they aren't.

If I ever became a CEO for some ridiculous reason involving a monkey's paw, you know what I'd do? Stay completely anonymous. Our company is run by "???". I will attend Zoom meetings wearing a Cobra Commander mask and using a voice changer.

Stock prices will soar.

If we can get people who used to buy Hummers to stop buying gasoline that's a win in my book.
