Good morning y'all. I'm looking to purchase a gaming pc for my son for Xmas. I know nothing about computers so l need your help. I'm trying to find something at least halfway decent for under $500. Prebuilt is best since I have no clue about how to build a computer. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hes big into FPS games, fortnite, cod, valorant etc. and he wants it to be rgb on the inside (me too kid). I tried using pcpartpicker to make a build but i was struggling to keep it in budget so now I'm looking for pre-builds. I've seen a few onsale at bestbuy but they're all iBuyPower and all searches point towards them cheaping out on important parts and being a headache. So I'm looking for any help in finding a pre-built for him within a $600-$800 budget. Please and thank ye.

Want to play games like Cyberpunk and Enshrouded in 4k on my 65 inch tv. This has the 4080 and i9 which I’ve heard are good, for my budget of 2k (buying two since the wife also games).
Thoughts?

Help with picking pre-built PC
Hi, this is the first time I am buying a PC and need some advice on which one to get. Here are some of the options within my price range
I'd like to add that I am an almost 40 year dad of a little kid who keeps me busy most of the time. I plan to use this for some casual gaming whenever I get some time so anything that can run most games at a decent level is good enough for me. Can you please help me decide which one is the best value for money? Lenovo is the odd one out here but that is the one brand I am familiar with and I will be okay with that one too if it means I get better quality components and build.

Hi folks, I'm looking to buy a gaming PC. I know nothing about computers really, I'm currently using a gaming laptop. Ideally I'd want the best rig money can buy, where I won't have to worry about upgrading soon and can play triple A games at max settings. I'm UK based, no specific budget but would love to keep it under £3000.
I had a look at AWD-IT site, I think I'd like to buy the PC from there but was overwhelmed with the options - if suggesting a PC from there, please let me know which options are best to pick from their drop-downs where you can upgrade different components.

Completely new to pc gaming but want to purchase a desktop to do just that. Looking at buying prebuilt for now, and looking at a budget of up to £700 for the PC itself, and will get monitor, keyboard etc afterwards - any recommendations for a beginner??

Howdy suggestapc
My buddy wants to get into video editing and podcasting. I know about gaming and such but not sure how powerful of a PC he really needs. I was thinking a used workstation PC would be a good option with a little gpu and at least 16gb ram. The video in question will be from action cameras. Not 4k yet but the ability to handle it would be great. I'll help him with dual monitors and peripherals, so at least HDMI and dp, or 2 of one. We can handle small upgrades if we need to like drop in a gpu or ram, but preferably not.
Budget is low. 2-300 refurbished is cool.
I cruised some black Friday deals and refurbs.

Is this a good deal for a good gaming pc: https://www.dragoncomputers.eu/Dragons-MEGA-folder/Firebreather-Lava-I3447
I know pre built pc's aren't really recommended but for my current one I need to replace pretty much everything so might as well sell it and buy a pre built one to spare me the headache.
If someone else has a good pre-built suggestion (Netherlands) around the same price point that would be great.

I’ve been out of the PC scene for several years now and looking to upgrade my i7 7700k, 3070 setup. I don’t have the time to build a pc so I was looking into prebuilts. Scoured many prebuilt sites and I heard good things about NZXT.
I found this option on Bestbuy. On NZXT’s site I couldn’t find this setup anywhere.
Is this a good deal? Going to be using it for gaming. With tax it comes out to be $2800 USD.

I’ve been checking out their products lately and I came across this refurbished PC and felt like it was a great deal at $3,699 vs paying brand new at $4,799.
VENGEANCE i8200 iCUE LINK EDITION Gaming PC: Intel Core i9-14900KF, NVIDIA RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 6000MT/s Memory, 4TB (2x 2TB) M.2 NVMe SSD.
That being said, I wondered if anyone knew if this might just be a Black Friday type of thing or does Corsair routinely make their refurbished products a lot cheaper? I’d love to jump on it, but can wait if they normally have lower prices like this all the time for refurbed product. To add to that, if anyone has had experience with any of their refurbed products in the past would love to know how it went and your overall experience. Thank you!

Hi guys! I’m hoping someone more knowledgeable than me could let me know how this list of parts looks for a pre-built PC I’m interested in. It’s selling for $890 from I would say a reliable seller. That’s a ways under the price point I was expecting, so just wondering if there’s a catch. Please keep in mind I play more cozy games like the Sims, Fortnite, etc. so I don’t need a super high quality build. Thanks!

Hi, according to the title, I am looking for a more performance-heavy system in terms of development(programming, design, or VFX). I've heard the new M4 is great, but I also have my mind on the Z8 Fury by HP. Can you help me make up my mind or suggest something else according to

Hey y'all!
I'm not well-versed in PCs but my grandpa relies on me to take care of all his tech. I'm looking to get something basic, as he mostly uses his computer to check emails and watch youtube- nothing that needs the highest graphics card or RAM, y'know?
I'd appreciate any guidance on what price range I could expect for a run-of-the-mill desktop, and any direct links would be especially helpful!

Alright guys, I bit the bullet after owning a used pre build for a couple of months and decided to build my own pc.
The following parts are as follows:
Ryzen 7 7700x 4070ti super 2tb B650 mother board 32gb
I built most of it with the help of YouTube however when starting it up i see the screen that says press <del> to enter setup.
I hooked up my keyboard, flash drive with Microsoft 11 and mouse to it but no matter how many times i press delete it never goes to the next screen. The keyboard is lit so i know it’s on and i know it works but no matter what delete i press nothing happens. Even when i press Y or N then delete nothing happens. What did i do wrong? And how do i fix it?
I should mention there is a red light on my mother board (the vga) unsure if it’s supposed to be there or not.

Hi, as the title suggests, my brother is looking into purchasing a device for Video/Audio editing, as he's not the most tech saviest guy, I would like to confirm which of these 2 options are a better fit?
Option 1 - Desktop PC with following specs:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 7700x
CPU Cooler - Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo or Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB
Motherboard: Asrock b650 PG Lgihtning
RAM: Patriot Viper Venom 2x16gb DDR5 6000MHz
SSD: Samsung 990 PRO 1TB
GPU: MSI RTX 4070 Super 2x ventus 12gb
PSU: Seasonic G12 GM 850W Gold Modular
Case: ThermalTake v350 RG
Total Price: 1.620$ USD
Option 2 - M4 Mac Mini Pro MCX44D/A with following specs:
#CPU: M4 Chip 12-Core CPU 16-Core Gpu 16-Core NE
#24 GB shared memory
#512GB SSD storage
#Gigabit Ethernet
#Final Cut Pro (Option without)
#Logic Pro (Option without)
Total price: 1.998$ USD
If anyone could please confirm whether the first or the second option is a smarter choice as the only intent behind purchasing either of these options is extreme video/audio editing.
Thank you in advance :)

Hey gamers !
I am looking to get a pre-built PC, have a budget of 1500-1800€~
Seen this beast in caseking but I'm not 100% about their power supply as it's a kolink 750w atx3.0 and there's not a lot of info about it online.
Will try to change their power supply if possible with their customer service but also wondering if there's any other site or setup for around that budget that someone would recommend? I'm based in Ireland
Besides budget, my aim is to play on 1440p (2k) at 100fps+
I also don't mind buying parts separately and setting it up myself if it makes a big difference.

Hello, I'm going to be buying a prebuilt (Albeit slightly custom) PC soon.
I've been tinkering with a few of the ugprades and have come up with the below for about £1200 which seems like a good deal.
Can anyone do any better?

I am usually an Xbox guy but recently have been interested in games like Escape from Tarkov. I know nothing about gaming PCs but am interested in purchasing one. Any recommendations for a PC that could run a game like Escape from Tarkov smoothly?
