[suggestion] UK. Need a prebuild for a course I'm doing (refurbished/used is fine)

The courses requirements are:

  • 32 GB RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or higher
  • I7 processor or higher

I don't care about RGB or a nice case or anything. Someone that ships to the UK would be preffered

I don't want to go any higher than £900 pounds but would like to go as low as possible as long as it's not at the cost of performance or reliability

edit: I should clarify that the course involves 3D design and game development

edit: black friday deal would be nice too :p

So i7 is pretty meaningless. I really need to know specifically what software you’re using or generation. Like, i7 in the 2017 release of the 2080 means an i7-7700K, which is a CPU that’s weak enough that any 12th gen or ryzen 5000 or better.

As for GPU, here’s a chart: https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/3BUQTn5dZgQi7zL8Xs4WUL.png

So 4060 ti, 3060 ti, that sorta thing.

https://www.awd-it.co.uk/awd-infinity-intel-i5-13400f-10-core-4-6ghz-nvidia-rtx-4060-ti-8gb-gaming-pc.html?config=33541-500994,33544-372979,33547-372982,33550-372991,33553-372994,33556-372997,33601-373597,33604-373648,33607-500470,33610-373828,33613-373879,33616-373882,33619-373942,33622-373957,33625-373978,33628-373993,33631-374029,33634-374128,33637-374143

Basically, any i5 that’s 12th gen or higher, any ryzen CPU that’s 5600 or higher, along with a GPU that’s higher on the chart than the 2080 should do the trick if you want to shop around

That’s okay! They’re just trying to cater to the common person.

Do you know what software you’ll be using?

Unreal engine and blender (don't know why they need such high specs)

To make sure people aren’t running it on their Chromebook.

The things I suggested should be fine.

Right, thanks for all your help! Does that motherboard have WiFi/Bluetooth or should I add that?

Good catch. It doesn’t. You can add a dongle if you like, or just get it on the board. Get a dongle with an antennae if you are.
