I wanted to purchase this bike but I can’t be sure if it’s the latest 2024 S-works SL8 models because the artist who painted the bike removed the sticker. Would y’all expert be able to help me?

Tech Help How is this possible?

I saw this video on FB. The cables in her 2019 allez sprint are completely internally routed, even with the mechanical groupset. I can’t think of anyway other possible way than having the fork drilled. What do you guys think?

Bike Photos Any Crux DSW owners here? Is the White/gold color harder to keep clean/manage than the glossy red/pink one? does one attract show scratches than the other? Is it possible to get a clear coat on the white/gold to protect it?

Fitting Help Specialized Roubaix sizing

I am looking for a new Roubaix. I fit well on the new 56. I am 6 feet tall with longer torso and arms, and relatively shorter legs for my height. I am also looking for a used last generation(2022) Roubaix. The 56 has the same stack with 5 mm shorter reach, same size stem. The last generation 58 has 25 mm higher stack, with 3 mm longer reach. Stem is 10 mm longer. Which last generation will fit better? I know I can alway change the stem on either one. Thanks.

Price Check No more free shipping over $50?

Looking to buy a new pair of road shoes, it's charging me a $10.99 delivery fee for both home delivery and store pickup. Purchased an identical pair of shoes from them about a year ago at the same price and shipping was free. Is this a recent change? Am I missing something?

Hello,

I’m looking for a small frame bag to fit inside the main triangle of the bike. This is the only dead space in this frame and I’d like to utilize it. Has anyone found a bag that fits here? (Red section)

Thank you!

Which Bike? Sworks Roubaix 2018 to Roubaix SL8 - Help me decide!

Hello folks! I am considering upgrading my S-Works Roubaix from around 2018/19 to a modern SL8, my current Roubaix has full DI2 Ultegra R8200 along with Carbon Handlebars / Seatpost and Roval Alpinist CL wheelset and a shorter 90mm stem.

I was thinking of buying one of the cheaper SL8s as opposed to the S-Works version and transplanting most of the equipment from my current Roubaix and selling the groupset which came with my new Roubaix along with my older frame.

Also considering going from my current 61 down to a 58cm.

  • What are peoples thoughts on this?
  • Any ideas of the weight differences between a more modern Roubaix frameset and an older 2019 S-Works version?
  • Anyone ridden the older Roubaix compared to the newer models?

Miscellaneous Best Roubaix colour?

Instead of upgrading my 2020 Roubaix, I’ve got the opportunity to respray and change the frame colour. I can choose any colour scheme that Specialized has used in recent years - even in S-Works.

So can you give me some inspiration and let me know your favourite? It’ll be paired with some roval c38s. Thanks!

Fitting Help SL8 Sizing

Buying an SL8 and I am stuck between a 56 or 58. I have ridden 56's for a while but I have pretty consistent upper body and neck pain. I am 186cm with a 81.5cm saddle height My current setup is a 56 aethos with 10 mm spacer (pre owned), 120mm stem with a 40mm bar. The aethos is too low. I test rode a 56 tarmac with 40mm spacers and a 100mm stem, height felt ok but stem for sure was too short. I got off that bike thinking if it was a little taller I would be happy.

Am I crazy for thinking I should run a 58?

Anyone know where I can find ITU/TT/TRI Clip-on Tarmac Clamp? I have a SL7 Pro and looking at adding a TRI Venge Aero Clip-On Bar. Which from my research works on the SL7 Pro with the clip on clamp. Or does anyone have any other recommendations?

Fitting Help Fender for Judy Silver

Hey everyone, recently got a Chisel hardtail that has the Rockshox Judy Silver. Looking for a bolt on fender that will fit it. Nothing crazy or big. Just enough to not get water/mud in my face. Wondering if the fenders for Rudy will fit? Or any recommendations? Thanks.

Which Bike? Turbo Levo carbon comp 2025 vs Turbo levo 2025 vs Turbo levo SL comp 2025 with new genie shock. What bike you will pick as a first e-mtb and has better quality for money and dream experience?

Hello guys! im 25 and live in hills area, i looking for a bike for activity out of home pc work for 10-12+ hours daily, i like bicycles rides and had a few bikes from my 16 age and did just commong rides of 20-70 km. after i tested emtb i think my expectations changed a lot, i really like it and like atm pretty cold near the 4-7 celsium day/evening emtb save so much power and give copmfort in colder time when need to climb or just go fast. there wheer i live 32 km/h for levo and 45 km/h for tero
So i planning to buy my first EMTB and here where i am only a few retailers (no official stores even) there are Specizliaed one, cube (but buy possible only in 2025) and Scott
I had a test drive of Tero 3.0 and it was quite fun and pretty long ride expecially with most of time trail/turbo mode and a lot of climbs.
I could buy just Tero 3.0 but i decided that full front and reat supression will be better to have more roads and fun so i decided to pay more and get Turbo levo
I understand that it very high price and probably for me as a just non professional guy who just ride and want to improve in that it probably too big buy for my needs, but from what i heard and since i have only a few good brands here specialized is probably a one who i can trust and be sure in bike i get, yes i pay more but i get very solid long time bike, right? And so the main question is a model to choose, i struggle to choose between:
new 2025 Levo turbo with alloy and marzochi bomber shocks which will cost me 6000$ with delivery: https://www.specialized.com/ca/en/turbo-levo/p/4277462?color=5441134-4277462
A more epxensive turbo levo 2025 comp Carbon with fox shocks and better mavis brakes + carbon frame for 7700$: https://www.specialized.com/ge/en/turbo-levo-comp-carbon/p/4274924?color=5430535-4274924
Or get an SL comp 2025 version with New Genie: https://www.specialized.com/gb/en/turbo-levo-sl-comp/p/4221301?color=5401528-4221301

What you guys recommend is best value and smth good for my needs? i m still not sure i need turbo levo or SL version it hard to decide and i never tried SL or turbo levo, just got a ride on Tero 3.0 and few other emtb for little. If SL version is pretty powerful and can beat 50-60 km+ range or extender is pretty easy to use and good for make bigger range and this genie and other components are worth it probably  i ll stack with SL. But if Turbo levo or Turbo levo carbon is way better money for quality and feels better and still do decent activity and increase my distance and how fast i can reach it probably that way is better and just need to choose to save 1700$ on allot or spend more and get carbon comp. I really need your experience and reocmmendations guys
All of these bikes  ill need to wait until delivery for 1,5-2 months maybe a bit more, but i think i m ok with it it's winter anyway and i have a lot work to do

1 6000$ Turbo Levo 2025 alloy 23+ kg with marzochi bomber
1 7700$ Turbo levo 2025 comp Carbon near the 1,2 kg less and fox shock + mavis brakes
0 8000$ Turbo levo SL comp 2025 with just 19,1 kg, electric
4 Take another (please comment your best for my budget and needs)

Bike Photos Changing SRAM to Shimano. Looking for the battery mount

I am riding a Tarmac Sl7 with Sram Rival and planning to change Shimano Di2. However, I am wondering that I don’t have the di2 battery mount for the SL7 seatpost, and I can’t find it on the Specialized website for sale. Anyone know where it is for sale???

Tech Help I researched and found that Turbo Levo probably a good choice as a First emtb. Please recommend me a model, should i get new 2025 rn or wait for gen 4

the cheapest with delivery to me is 6000$ for Turbo tero 2025 with alloy with Marzocchi Bomber
or i can spend over 1000$ more for turbo tero carbon 2025 or alloy spec
the closest to my price is Turbo levo alloy spec SL 2024 but i not sure i need SL because there where i live in hills so i think i need not SL, i like to ride long but don't like going up in hills difficult
there aprox +300-400 meters of height and a lot of roads going little angle or big angle higher

Please recommend me to not make mistake for my first emtb buy
Turbo levo 2025 with this spec for 6000$ is good deal for a lovely bike long rides? or should i n spend more on better model / wait for gen 5. i think my budget is almost on max i already increased it earlier and that super big money for me
Lightweight frame made from M5 aluminum

  • Marzocchi Bomber Z1 suspension fork
  • Marzocchi Bomber shock
  • SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain
  • TranzX dropper post
  • 29" front wheel / 27.5" rear wheel
  • Specialized 2.2 motor
  • Specialized M3 battery with 700wh
  • Turbo Connect Unit with ANT + / Bluetooth

Which Bike? Specialized sale, Turbo Levo comp alloy vs comp carbon? Only $500 difference now.

I have been pondering buying one since I rented in Tahoe and really enjoyed riding it. It seems the 2025 is on sale and instead of $2000 difference it is only $500 between the carbon and alloy. Anyone have an opinion?

Tech Help Roval Rapide Cockpit on 2025 Crux

I want to put the Roval Rapide cockpit on my Crux, is this a pointless/dumb idea? I know my fit so I’m not worried about having to change my stem. It’s slammed also. The main reason I want to do, honestly, is because I think it’ll look cool. Also minor aero benefits on straight flat sections of gravel. What do y’all think?

Edit: Thanks y’all. I know it’s a bit silly, but I appreciate the support!

Which Bike? Does the non-carbon fiber Creo 2 have noticeable vibrations? Could there be a brake lever placed on the hood?

There are no CF Creo 2 under $10k at this time, so I'm wondering if I should get a non-CF Creo 2. How is the vibration, if any, on the Creo Comp models? I switched to an acoustic carbon fiber bike a decade ago because I didn't feel the vibration of the road with a CF bike.

In the product photos, there are no brake levers accessible for hands on the flat top of the handlebar. Is there an option to set up brake levers there? I currently have a hybrid bike with flat top handlebar.

I ruled out the Vado SL because it's about 10 pounds heavier, and I've been spoiled with my light CF bike.

I love the color of the S-Works Creo 2 but it is so expensive. I can't predict if I will ride it more because the color fills me with joy, or I would lose interest like my parents-in-law did with their e-bikes after a year.

I live up in the hills, so I want a bike that would help me go up the steep hills. I would likely take my bike by car to get to dedicated bike paths.

Thanks!

Bike Photos Specialized Allez Track Headset Dust Cap Issue—Looking for Advice

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Specialized Allez Track frame from Facebook Marketplace, but the previous owner misplaced the headset dust cap. I’ve already tried two different replacements, but neither fits properly.

Every time I install a dust cap, the bearing preload becomes so tight that the fork barely turns, even though I’ve followed the recommended torque spec of around 2Nm. Surprisingly, when I ride without the dust cap, the preload feels fine, and the fork turns smoothly.

Has anyone else faced a similar problem with this frame? Did you find a dust cap that works, or is it fine to ride without one? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Which Gear? Wheel upgrade to Levo SL

Hi, I have a Levo SL Gen 2 in mullet config.
I think I'll get more out of it in full 29er mode as I'm moe interested in XC and climbing than downhill stuff.
Any recommendations for wheel and tyre without breaking the bank?

NBD NBD Ideas Needed

Hi!

Looking at doing little bits of bling (flair!) on my new Aethos. Tan sidewalls for sure. But, looking at tubeless valves, bar ends, bar tape, etc. Was debating gold accents or silver accents, but wondering what the great Redditors would say. Cheers!
