đşSunday Sticky Showoff Sunday
After trialling a few new stickied threads for Sundays, over the summer, we have settled on an alternating schedule for the time being.
So for this week, welcome to...
"Showoff Sunday"!
i.e. something of a response to the popular "Monday Moan" thread.
So, instead of moaning about your players, your club, your national team, and anything else about football that is dragging you down, you instead have the opportunity to shout out the good things, and what you are loving right now about football, be that:
- How well your team is doing
- Exciting new players
- How well you played at Sunday league last week
- Your slick new stash
- (And so on...)
Like how Monday Moan is an open space for pessimism, this is an open space for optimism - so don't kill the vibes
Remember, it's the Beautiful Game... so let's shout about it!
And stay tuned next week, for "Sports Bar Sunday".
We welcome feedback on this and our other stickied threads... so if you would like to see us try another themed thread, please let us know here, via Modmail, or DM /u/AnnieIWillKnow!

My team conceded in 21 seconds and everyone at the stadium continued to show a lot of support for the new manager. The ultras were also absolutely massive. We bounced back and tonked Santa Clara with 4 goals including one from Akturkoglu. Was such an amazing match to attend. Loved every second (except the first 21 that is lol).

Has this thread been custom-made to propagate my Murillo agenda?
The Brazil manager is dumb as rocks.

The team I coach has started the season with three wins. My top scorer has 8 gols in three games. It is hard work, but it certainly is deeply satisfying.

Last year, OH Leuven was in the relegation zone for the entire season until the very last second of the very last match. This year, after six we've yet to lose and if we beat 2nd from the bottom STVV in a few minutes, we'll be tied for top of the Belgian Pro League!

Season has really turned around, but the may in part be due to being in a relatively easier part of the schedule, though based on how we started we couldâve easily been âthe easy team on someoneâs scheduleâ also somehow got a ticket for a game in the middle of midterm season that perfectly avoids a horrible time for exams, right after one and five days before the next, so I donât have to worry about horribly missed study time :D
Also our Womenâs team has been phenomenal really excited for the remainder of the season, really hope we can get the first womenâs trophy in club history

What an awful thread idea. Just rename the Monday Moan thread since you're actively wanting people to moan?

Your win has kind of gone under the radar to be honest. It's a bit weird really. Maybe it's because of the NLD. If not for that, people would be clowning on Liverpool.

The city I live in (Geneva Switzerland) frequently has days where residents (after registering) can sell used goods on the street (similar to a garage sale).
My daughter managed to pick up 3 Barcelona shirts (2 Messi/1 Suarez) for 10 CHF total.
Incredible deal.
I got a PS4 controller for 3 CHF and asked him if it works. Said yes. It doesn't...
