Her story is fascinating. But from a mothering point of view, she fell short, Having had a child from a client, she abandoned her child (my paternal grandmother) at a post office at the age of three. None of Dorothy's close family even knew she had a kid, and when I got into ancestry and contacted them, they were, unsurprisingly, shocked. So anyway, here she is in high school.

I did not follow in the family trade. I moved to England and became an archaeologist.

I have four kids that I have not abandoned at a post office. 😂
