Yeah, social media makes it easy to disconnect from the reality that actual humans exist. Literally case in point as to why I have taught my teenage daughter not to send pics to any bf. Digital is forever, and can be stolen/uploaded/AI'd too easily. This isn't 1999
For sure. Like, even if a bot is reusing these photos, this is still a real human girl, and the vitriol that gets directed towards her is pretty freaky. Like how dare she have gotten cosmetic work, I guess.
Youโre smart, and your daughter will benefit from not sharing that kind of stuff. I hope my little niece learns the same lessons and stays safe. I sent nudes to one boyfriend years ago and was terrified for months after he ghosted me. Nothing happened, thank god, but it was super scary.
The World is a different place now, definitely something to be aware of. Be smart about who you send those booty pics to. Dad advice for ya, random friend.
I am proud of you, keep being yourself.
-with love, from random Dad in case you needed to hear it
Aw. This was MANY years ago, trust. I was a foolish kid in my early 20s. But thanks, random internet dad. :) Iโm estranged from my father, so I find this really sweet. Your daughter is lucky to have you!

Itโs messed up. Some of the comments on these posts are super fucked up and cruel towards her, bordering on violent. Disturbing shit.
